FabFitFun is searching for a Senior Social Media Specialist / Content Creator to join our team and be a face of FabFitFun! This person will be responsible for creation of engaging daily video and photo content (shoot and edit) to tell planned brand stories in alignment with the marketing calendar. Ideal candidates have a strong understanding of digital storytelling, social trends and experience making organic content go viral. 

Location: FabFitFun is based in the Greater Los Angeles area in Beverly Hills, CA. This role will be expected to work in a hybrid environment and will not be eligible for remote. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Plan daily video content to live on all social channels focusing on relevant trends, community building, and channel growth. 
  • Assist Social Media Manager in concepting, storyboarding, and executing the season’s content (spoilers, teasers, ambassador content, etc.) and creative activations (ie. scavenger hunts, IRL experiences, etc.) to build brand awareness, drive acquisition organically, and increase community engagement.
  • Create content onsite weekly: 
    • Comfortable being in-front of the camera bringing personality to content
    • Attend Creative Team’s Photo & Video Shoots to capture BTS content for social, and capture content in-office with various FFF Teams 
    • Occasionally visit partner brands’ storefronts and events for content creation
    • 2-3 trips per season to capture content at the FFF Fulfillment Center
  • Review and engage with tagged content, using the community’s content as inspiration when relevant (ie. stitch videos, etc.). 
  • Research latest trends in the cultural zeitgeist and schedule and prioritize according to the Marketing & Social Calendar
  • Craft captions/ descriptions to be used across channels. Use the FabFitFun voice to be both educational and entertaining ensuring SEO optimization with keywords and proper tags
  • Monthly performance data tracking for relevant posts and platforms

What You’ll Bring

  • 1-5 years working in Organic Social Media & Content Creation, preferred experience for a women's lifestyle brand (beauty, fashion, wellness, etc.)
  • BA in Media, Marketing, Communication, Journalism, or other related fields
  • Social video editing ability on any preferred platform (Capcut, Final Cut Pro, or other)
  • Deep understanding of social media platforms including: TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest
  • Understanding of social trends and what makes content go viral
  • Strength in editorial/copywriting
  • Strong creative ability

The expected annual salary for this position is $80,000-$95,000. The compensation package will also include an initial equity grant, in addition to a range of generous medical, dental, vision and other perks & benefits. Compensation decisions are determined using a variety of job-related factors such as skill set, geographic location, market demands, experience, and education / certifications. If we extend an offer for employment, we will consider all individual qualifications.
