JOB SUMMARY:
The Senior ServiceNow Engineer will serve as a vital technical resource responsible for developing and deploying robust integrations between ServiceNow and NetSuite SuiteBilling, as well as other third-party platforms. This hands-on role requires deep technical expertise in ServiceNow, strong integration skills, and close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions that advance Trace3’s business objectives.
SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Design, develop, and customize ServiceNow applications including modules, workflows, business rules, UI policies, client/server-side scripts, and ACLs.
- Leverage ServiceNow Flow Designer and Workflow Editor, along with scripting tools, to automate TPSM and other enterprise processes critical to billing and financial operations.
- Implement and enforce role-based access controls (RBAC) and maintain secure data boundaries, especially in domain-separated or multi-tenant environments.
- Monitor and optimize ServiceNow platform performance, ensuring scalability and efficient operation across development, testing, and production environments.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and IT leadership to gather technical requirements, translate them into system configurations or scripts, and deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for integrations, workflows, and configurations; provide training and Tier 2/3 support to administrators and power users as needed.
- Support Multi-Tenancy & Domain Separation project and solution once live in system.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) required
- 5 years’ experience with ServiceNow platform administration, development, and customer integrations.
- 3 years’ of experience integrating ServiceNow with third-party systems such as NetSuite, Active Directory, and Azure.
- 5 years’ experience with ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, ITOM, CSM, and others.
- 5 years’ experience with ServiceNow security models, ACLs, and domain-specific configurations.
- 5 years’ experience with JavaScript, Glide API, REST/SOAP web services, and MID Server configurations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business processes and technical requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple and changing priorities while meeting deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Hands on experience with ServiceNow upgrades, cloning, and patching processes
- Knowledge of ITIL, DevOps, and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with ServiceNow Performance Analytics and Reporting.
- Certified Application Developer (CAD) and Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) preferred.
