The Boeing Company is looking for a Senior Service Reliability Specialist to join the team in Tukwila, WA; Settle, WA; North Charleston, SC; Colorado Springs, CO; Plano, TX; Dallas, TX; Hazelwood, MO; Seal Beach, CA; Long Beach, CA; Mesa, AZ; Miami, FL; Ridley Park, PA or Berkeley, MO.

We are looking for a Customer-Facing Specialist to champion the reliability, performance, and resilience of our mission-critical applications including customer portals, e-commerce systems, training platforms, and global airline support tools.

This isn’t a behind-the-scenes role. You’ll sit at the intersection of technology and customer experience, owning application uptime, building automation for self-healing systems, and directly communicating with internal stakeholders and airline customers when incidents arise.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provides consultation and leadership to identify, evaluate and document complex computing system requirements

  • Applies expertise related to architecture, design, build and test delivery systems and components

  • Provides technical leadership to evaluate product usability, affordability, functionality, security and performance to assess suitability for integration into delivery system environments

  • Provides technical support and consultation for the implementation and usage of complex delivery systems

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 10 + years of experience with data engineering and data pipelines for On-Prem cloud, hybrid data models and data warehouses

  • 5+ years of experience with Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Virtual Machines

  • 5+ years of experience with designing and developing software for complex systems such as Distributed Systems, Multi-Threaded and Multi-Process Applications, and Client-server Architectures

  • 5+ years of experience with GitLab, Azure DevOps and CI/CD (Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)

  • 3+ years of experience with Docker and Kubernetes

  • 3+ years of experience in Incident Management

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher

  • Experience with supporting complex applications or systems

  • Experience with problem-solving, including diagnosing and resolving complex network issues

  • Experience with written and verbal communication to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

  • Experience with maintaining thorough documentation, and implementing repeatable processes

Summary pay range: $144,500 - $209,300
