Job Overview
Are you a Salesforce admin who thrives on working with business stakeholders to add new features and processes to the platform?
Mainspring Energy is looking for a proactive and energetic individual who will work closely with business users, configure platform enhancements, and provide an excellent Salesforce user experience. In this role, you will take ownership of the platform, identify areas of improvement, and implement self-identified and business-requested changes. Your contributions will help Mainspring scale and achieve its business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with business stakeholders to identify platform improvements and document business requirements, process flow diagrams, and user stories.
- Design scalable native Salesforce solutions or work collaboratively to select third-party tools to meet business needs.
- Configure Salesforce changes, including (but not limited to): Flows, Apex, assignment rules, approval processes, objects, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards and reports.
- Deploy, configure, and manage integrated applications including Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot), community portals, ZoomInfo, Squivr, LinkSquares, and Grids.
- Manage new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, organization wide defaults, sharing rules.
- Communicate platform changes to end users. Create user documentation and provide training sessions and demos.
- Produce test plans, conduct unit testing, deploy change sets, create technical documentation, and maintain the sandbox environment.
- Conduct proactive system maintenance including security reviews, release updates, health checks, and performance optimizations.
- Stay current with Salesforce news and upcoming features.
- Continuously learn Salesforce skills through Trailheads, certifications, and other training opportunities.
- Support other commercial data systems and work cross-functionally with the Enterprise Data Systems team.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience managing and configuring Salesforce as a primary job function.
- A proven track record of building strong working relationships with business stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Certified Salesforce Administrator and Platform Developer I with related Trailhead Badges/Super Badges.
- 2+ years experience programming with Apex.
- Strong understanding of relational databases and data models.
- Progress towards an Advanced Developer or Advanced Admin certification.
- Knowledge of Marketing Cloud Account Engagement.
- Knowledge of the biz dev, sales, and marketing process.
- Familiarity with both direct and indirect sales processes is a plus.
- Product manufacturing and sales, operation, inventory and planning background is a plus.
- Salesforce Field Service experience is a plus.
