The Senior Sales Systems Engineer leads technology evaluations in sales, advises on Stryker's solutions, and partners with sales teams for customer education and support.

As a Senior Sales Systems Engineer at Stryker, you will be responsible for actively leading the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working with the extended sales team as the key technical advisor and product advocate. You will articulate Stryker’s Vocera technology solutions and product positioning to business and technical users. Pre-sales activities include understanding the customer's business and analyzing their mobile communications and workflow requirements.
What you will do:
- You will partner with the Sales team to help educate customers on the value of Stryker’s Vocera solutions through product demonstrations and presentations
- Work closely with the customer's IT team to ensure they fully understand our deployment methodologies and requirements
- You will qualify our customer's network infrastructure via assessments using Ekahau AI Pro Survey, Omnipeek, and Wireshark analysis tools
- Design Vocera architecture for customer deployments and prepare customer infrastructure assessment reports for our professional services team
- You will respond to RFIs/RFPs and IT questionnaires and take part in trade shows, conferencing and marketing events as needed
What you need:
Required:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology or a related field; or Canadian Post Secondary Certificate and 6+ years of additional relevant experience
- 2+ years demonstrated experience in technical sales; or in integration development for healthcare organizations
- 50% travel throughout the territory is required specifically: Eastern Canada (ON,QB,NS,NF,NL,PE.QC,NB)
Preferred:
- Experience with Windows, Linux and Cloud architectures; server virtualization; Wi-Fi Route/Switch certifications; SIP and Traditional TDM Telephony preferred
- Experience deploying Mobile Applications for Smartphones via MDM solutions preferred
- Demonstrated experience with middleware and EMR/EHR applications and Enterprise 802.11 wireless and LAN/ WAN networking experience preferred
- Integration knowledge and experience with third party systems (e.g. Nurse Call, Patient Monitoring, Middleware, and SIP trunking) preferred
- Wi-Fi or Route/Switch certifications preferred
- Experience with SIP and Traditional TDM Telephony preferred
- Bilingual French/English preferred
