What you'll do
As a Senior Sales Recruiter at Tractian, you will play a critical role in building a high-performing revenue organization by identifying, engaging, and hiring top-tier sales talent. Your primary focus will be sourcing, assessing, and hiring quota-carrying sales professionals and sales leaders across our go-to-market organization.
You will partner closely with sales leadership to understand hiring priorities, territory needs, and growth plans, and apply strong market insight and outbound recruiting expertise to attract proven sellers who can consistently generate pipeline, close revenue, and contribute to Tractian’s continued growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle recruiting for quota-carrying sales roles and sales leadership positions across Tractian’s go-to-market organization
- Partner closely with sales leaders to understand hiring priorities, territory coverage, growth plans, and role requirements
- Proactively source, engage, and assess high-performing sales talent through outbound recruiting, referrals, and market mapping
- Evaluate candidates against role-specific success profiles, including sales performance, deal complexity, and growth trajectory
- Provide consultative guidance to hiring managers on talent availability, compensation expectations, and hiring strategy within the Canadian market
- Manage candidate experience end-to-end, ensuring timely communication, transparency, and a high standard of professionalism
- Utilize recruiting tools and ATS/CRM systems to track pipeline health, manage workflows, and report on recruiting metrics
- Drive continuous improvement in recruiting processes, sourcing strategies, and assessment approaches to improve speed and quality of hire
- Ensure recruiting practices align with applicable employment and human rights legislation throughout the hiring process
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience recruiting for sales and revenue-generating roles, including Account Executives, Sales Development Representatives, Sales Engineers, and sales leadership positions
- Demonstrated ability to identify, assess, and hire high-performing, quota-carrying sales talent
- Strong understanding of B2B sales motions and go-to-market strategies, including outbound prospecting, pipeline generation, deal cycles, territory models, and common sales methodologies
- Ability to evaluate sales candidates using objective performance indicators such as quota attainment, deal size, average sales cycle length, and consistency of results across roles and organizations
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence, advise, and partner effectively with candidates, sales leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders
- Proficiency with modern recruiting tools, applicant tracking systems, and sourcing platforms, with experience managing high-volume outbound recruiting in fast-paced environments
