And we make it easy for brands & retailers to gain valuable business insights from real-time consumer feedback with intuitive tools and dashboards. The result is smarter shopping: loyal customers, increased sales, and improved products.

The problem we are trying to solve : Brands and retailers struggle to make real connections with consumers. It's a challenge to deliver trustworthy and inspiring content in the moments that matter most during the discovery and purchase cycle. The result? Time and money spent on content that doesn't attract new consumers, convert them, or earn their long-term loyalty.

Our brand promise : closing the gap between brands and consumers.

Bazaarvoice is looking for a strategic and results-oriented Senior Sales Operations Business Partner to join our Revenue Operations organisation. This is not a traditional analyst role. As a trusted advisor to our sales organization, you will be embedded with a dedicated business unit, responsible for driving strategy, enforcing operational rigor, and delivering the insights that accelerate performance.

You will act as the strategic co-pilot to Sales leadership, using your analytical acumen to move beyond simply reporting the "what" and instead investigate the "why." You will collaborate to resolve performance gaps and drive the adoption of processes that lead to predictable success. We are looking for an individual with an innate curiosity to solve complex problems, the influencing skills to drive change, and the ability to transform data into a clear, actionable strategy for senior leadership.

What You'll Do:

  • As a Trusted Business Partner, you will own the end-to-end operational cadence for your assigned sales segment, with responsibilities across four key areas:
  • Inspect & Inform: Proactively monitor sales execution metrics, pipeline health, and forecast trends to identify risks and opportunities. Surface critical insights and flag issues to business stakeholders, translating complex data into a clear narrative that guides strategic conversations.
  • Investigate: Partner directly with sales leadership to conduct root cause analysis when metrics are falling behind. Go beyond the dashboards to understand what’s working, what’s not, and the underlying drivers of performance.
  • Resolve: Collaborate with sales leaders to design and implement corrective action plans. Co-own the resolution by helping to shape changes in strategy, tactics, and sales plays to get the business back on track.
  • Enforce: Drive the adoption of operational excellence. Ensure adherence to best practices in pipeline management, enforce key metrics hygiene, and champion the consistent execution of prescribed Go to Market plays and sales processes.

What You'll Bring:

  • 4+ years of experience in a strategic Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or Business Partner role, ideally within a B2B SaaS company.
  • Strategic Mindset: Proven ability to think beyond the immediate data request and understand the broader business context to provide forward-looking insights.
  • Analytical Excellence: Superior analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of synthesizing complex data into compelling, concise recommendations. Strong proficiency in Excel is required.
  • Data Visualization & Storytelling: Expertise in Tableau or similar data visualization tools, with the ability to build self-service reporting and tell a clear story with data.
  • Influencing & Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to build strong relationships, manage differences of opinion, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Accountability & Ownership: A strong desire to get things done and a proven ability to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance.
  • Core Systems Proficiency: Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM tools is essential for success in this role.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple projects with timeliness and organization.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
