Senior Sales Operations Business Intelligence Analyst

The Business Intelligence team is an integral part of our Sales Operations team and supports the Sales and Client Services organization by providing strategic business insights to drive decision making activities focused on increasing revenue, increasing retention rates and improving the overall customer experience. This team is well-versed in understanding our prospects and customers and has extensive knowledge of platforms, processes, data analytics, our products and the cross-functional customer journey.

As the Senior Sales Operations Business Intelligence Analyst, you will refine our data management and technology vision by evaluating the entire sales process and customer journey to determine the best method to collect, analyze, provide relevant insight, and implement data at key touchpoints through the customer lifecycle.   A key function will be to to drive a best-in-class dashboard strategy leveraging Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning from both a leadership perspective and for our customer-facing teams.

Critical to this role is an in-depth understanding of the buyer’s journey. This includes data analytics that provides insight into our sales pipeline, pricing model, win/loss activities, client health, sales platforms, and knowledge of the client services responsibilities. With this understanding, we can create efficiencies, build scalable processes, and communicate across the organization on behalf of our customers. 

Let’s talk about Responsibilities

  • Define and paint “Future State”, prioritize and assign projects, establish Vital Few and metrics, develop team and represent group with leadership.

  • Responsible for complex data analysis and dashboards of the sales pipeline including providing insight into sales stage length, average deal size, win/loss ratios, competitive analysis, market analysis, retention and churn, product analysis, and lead process effectiveness. 

  • Partner with customer success and sales leaders as well as other internal stakeholders to understand reporting and insight requirements to guide the team in developing and maintaining best-in-class dashboards.

  • Develop and implement tools and processes to support sales and client services with a strong focus on improving efficiencies, effectiveness, and productivity.

  • Identify opportunities for process automation and optimization, with a focus on scalability and driving significant revenue growth.

  • Maintain data integrity; govern and track adoption in Salesforce and other platforms.

  • Centralize and analyze data, leveraging artificial intelligence and machine learning to develop dashboards and reports that provide insight and proactive direction to the organization to improve customer retention and expansion.

  • Demonstrate leadership when providing information to company senior leadership in terms of both accuracy and translation of data.

  • Analyze, recognize and report business trends, insights, and market changes.

  • Extract primary or secondary data from existing internal or external data sources.

  • Interpret data results to manage business outcomes.

  • Partner with internal teams and customers to review data and provide recommendations on business opportunities and improvements.

  • Be flexible with taking on new data-related tasks with minimum supervision.

Let’s talk about Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, finance, statistics, computer science or a related field required

  • 5+ years of business analytics experience ideally supporting a SaaS organization

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects

  • Excellent problem-solving, project management, interpersonal and organizational skills

  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Salesforce, Gainsight and other sales/customer success productivity tools

  • Ability to present complex information in an understandable and compelling manner 

  • Experience in healthcare – specifically long-term/post-acute care preferred

  • A clear communicator able to make well-reasoned recommendations to all levels of the organization, from peers to executive leadership

  • Ability to work in a continually changing, customer-focused environment and to be simultaneously accountable to multiple peer team members

Individual pay decisions are based on a variety of factors, such as the candidate’s geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills.

At ResMed, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.  A reasonable estimate of the current range for this position is:

Total Base Pay Range

  • 87,000.00 - 130,000.00 USD Annual
