Zayo is seeking a highly skilled Senior Sales Operations Analyst to support the Sales Operations Team and broader Sales Organization through advanced operational analysis, CRM governance, strategic programs, process improvement, and financial and performance reporting. The Senior Sales Operations Analyst plays a critical part in driving operational efficiency and strategic execution across sales functions.

The Senior Sales Operations Analyst will create and manage Salesforce reports and dashboards, ensure CRM data integrity, support annual planning cycles, and provide analytics to drive informed business decisions. This position also acts as a key liaison between sales, product, finance, marketing, and other cross-functional teams, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of insights, reporting, and process enhancements.

Responsibilities:

CRM Governance & Data Integrity

  • Ensure integrity and consistency of data across Salesforce.

  • Lead CRM data audits and enforce data governance policies.

  • Identify system improvements and define requirements or process changes to improve data integrity.

Annual Planning & GTM Support

  • Assist in the annual planning process, including territory and module design, quota development, and budget modeling.

  • Provide data-driven insights and modeling to inform GTM strategy, productivity targets and strategic initiatives.

Performance Analysis

  • Provide funnel and forecast reporting and analysis to drive insights and strategic decisions. 

  • Maintain monthly and ad hoc sales performance data and KPIs for executives and sales leaders.

  • Track key metrics such as attainment, pipeline health, churn, and bookings to support performance management.

Strategic Programs, Operations and Process Ownership

  • Provide GTM program support across Zayo’s sales segments, including execution tracking, performance analysis, and cross-functional coordination to drive segment-specific growth and alignment with strategic objectives.

  • Support strategic initiatives across the business, including new go-to-market programs and sales enablement efforts.

  • Oversee the account change approval process, including ownership reassignments, merges, and hierarchy modifications.

  • Act as a key business process owner for sales-related workflows and system enhancements.

  • Identify and develop system requirements or process changes to improve operational efficiency.

Cross-Functional Communication & Support

  • Serve as a liaison between sales, finance, marketing, and IT teams.

  • Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis support for the sales organization and leadership team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, or related field required; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience in Sales Operations, Financial/Operational Analysis, or a related role.

  • Telecom industry experience preferred, but not required.

  • Proven expertise in Salesforce CRM; experience in CRM data governance and reporting preferred. 

  • Advanced Excel skills required; experience with BI tools like Tableau or Power BI preferred.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to tailor messaging for multiple audiences.

  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and present complex data in a clear and actionable manner.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt in dynamic, fast-paced environments.

  • Able to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Estimated Base Salary Range: $83,300 - $119,000 USD/annually.

The base pay range shown is a guideline and reasonable estimate for this role. It takes into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted range based upon geographic location, work experience, skill level, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Non- sales roles may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive plan. Sales roles may be eligible to participate in a sales incentive plan.

Additionally, this position may be eligible for certain benefits, such as health insurance, life insurance, disability retirement plans, paid time off.

The posting will be active for a minimum of 3 days. The active posting will continue to extend by 3 days until the position is filled.
