Lead Sage Intacct implementations and add-on module engagements, provide client support, manage project scope and budgets, maintain project plans, mentor junior consultants, and advise clients on product releases and advanced functionality. The role requires independent management of multiple engagements, strong client communication, escalation management, and continuous improvement of consulting practices.
One of Pine’s portfolio companies is a growing Sage Intacct practice helping mid-market businesses transform their finance and operations. They’re looking for a Senior Sage Intacct Consultant to lead client implementations, support add-on modules, and serve as a trusted advisor to clients well beyond go-live.
This is a senior role with real ownership — you’ll manage projects, mentor junior consultants, and build lasting client relationships. The right person is self-directed, client-obsessed, and energized by the challenge of making complex technology work simply for the people using it.
This is a fully remote role.
What You'll Do
- Lead new Sage Intacct implementations and add-on module engagements, working closely with clients and Project Managers to keep projects in scope and on budget.
- Provide timely client support — resolving cases or transitioning to publisher support within 24 hours, with at least weekly client updates throughout.
- Escalate publisher cases proactively when meaningful updates aren’t received, and maintain high CSAT across your portfolio.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously without micromanagement — hitting milestones consistently and flagging risks early.
- Identify out-of-scope items, discuss with Project Managers, and assist with change orders in a timely manner.
- Keep project plans accurate and up to date, reflecting true effort and major tasks required to complete engagements.
- Mentor junior consultants — participating in leveling chats, group meetings, and contributing to best practices and process improvements.
- Stay ahead of Sage Intacct product releases and understand how new functionality will impact your clients now and in the future.
- Work toward advanced module certifications, including CRE, Dynamic Allocations, and Global Consolidations.
What They're Looking For
- Proven experience implementing and supporting Sage Intacct in a consulting environment.
- Ability to work independently across multiple client engagements without close oversight.
- Strong project management instincts — milestone tracking, budget awareness, and change order management.
- Client-facing communication skills, with the ability to set expectations, deliver updates, and navigate difficult conversations professionally.
- Experience mentoring or providing guidance to less experienced consultants.
- Passion for making clients’ lives better through technology — a genuine can-do attitude.
- Honest, direct, and results-oriented — acts with urgency and does what’s right, not just what’s easy.
- Advanced Sage Intacct certifications, particularly in CRE, Dynamic Allocations, or Global Consolidations.
- Experience working within a structured project methodology alongside dedicated Project Managers.
- Familiarity with Sage Intacct publisher escalation processes.
