Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Robotics and Automation Engineer with at least 7 years in the field—candidates must hold or be actively pursuing a PhD in Robotics, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field—to lead the development and integration of innovative systems and processes across multiple industries. This is a leadership role designed for an individual who can drive strategy, mentor teams, and make high-impact technical decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Advanced Robotics System Design:
- Lead design, development, and deployment of robotic systems.
- Define specs, build prototypes, and ensure robust performance.
- Automation Strategy & Implementation:
- Identify and implement automation opportunities across processes.
- Develop control algorithms, integrate sensors, and optimize workflows with data insights.
- Research & Innovation:
- Drive research projects that merge robotics with advanced automation.
- Leverage emerging technologies to steer future initiatives.
- Technical Leadership & Collaboration:
- Mentor teams and share best practices in robotics and automation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and senior leadership to set clear goals and deliver top-notch solutions.
- Guide strategic decision-making and ensure compliance with technical standards and regulations.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant industry experience in robotics, automation, or a related field.
- Proven track record of leading projects or managing teams.
- Educational Requirement:
- PhD in Robotics, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline; or currently pursuing a PhD with solid research credentials.
- Technical Skills:
- Expertise in robotics system design, including hardware integration, control systems, and sensor/actuator technologies.
- Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, C++) and familiarity with robotics frameworks such as ROS.
- Experience using simulation, modeling, and automation design tools.
- Interpersonal & Leadership:
- Proven ability in problem-solving, clear communication, and effective project management in team-based environments.
- Research & Analytical Skills:
- A strong background in applied research, with a demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Publications & Conferences: Proven track record of published research and industry presentations.
- Interdisciplinary Experience: Experience integrating robotics with automated manufacturing across various industries.
- Advanced Technical Expertise: Specialized knowledge in machine vision, deep learning for robotics, or advanced control algorithms.
- Industry Certifications: Certifications or training in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement methodologies.
