Position Summary:
The primary purpose of this position is to manage and optimize the organization’s resources and deliver resource management support to the business. On a day-to-day basis, the Senior Resource Manager is responsible for executing all staffing processes and activities further defined below.
Essential functions of the job include but are not limited to:
- Perform allocation and assignment of global resources in complex staffing scenarios for multiple departments
- Work with stakeholders and senior leadership to understand complex resource requirements
- Identify strategies to meet current and future needs
- Proactively identifies capacity constraints and hiring needs for department leaders
- Negotiates and resolves staffing conflicts in collaboration with stakeholders
- Partners with department leadership on implementing process improvements and initiatives
- Prepare metrics and summary reports on resourcing activities as necessary
- Escalate sensitive or high-risk staffing situations to Resource Management leadership and Executive Team as necessary
- Mentors others when required
- Supports leadership with strategy
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Minimum Required:
- Bachelors degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 7 years of resource management experience or equivalent, relevant experience and/or demonstrated competencies
Other Required:
- Proven experience in negotiating with and influencing stakeholders
- Excellent command of spoken and written English
- Demonstrated prior CRO or similar industry experience
Competencies:
- Strong interpersonal skills including clear and concise verbal and written communication
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to solve complex problems using knowledge/skills, precedents and practices
- Ability to exercise independent judgment within broadly defined practices in selecting approaches and methods for obtaining results
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Appropriate financial acumen and understanding of budgets, forecasting, utilization and realization concept
