As part of the Life Science & Healthcare account management team, you will assist our customers on their path to exciting new discoveries in pharma and healthcare. Through supporting the renewal and development of our growing subscription base, you will have the opportunity to develop your sales skills in life science while playing a critical role in driving growth and innovation. 

This position reports into the Director of Subscriptions for the Americas and will be responsible for total subscriptions in your territory through focus on renewing your own book of business and driving up sell and cross sell opportunities. Experience of selling to R&D, Clinical, Regulatory, commercial or market access personas across the Pharmaceutical and Life Science/Healthcare Ecosystem is essential

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, or related field, or equivalent, relevant work experience.
  • Minimum of seven years direct sales experience with three years experience in life science.
  • Prior experience with selling subscriptions both renewal sales and new business is preferred

  • General knowledge and understanding of utilizing SFDC
  • Demonstrated track record of exceeding sales targets
  • Experience using sales enablement tools such as outreach, zoom info and Linked in Sales Navigator
  • Demonstrated ability to understand customer workflows and priorities and translate these into opportunities

What will you be doing in this role?   

  • Engage with larger customers to identify renewal opportunities, address their specific needs, and provide advanced support. 

  • Leverage extensive product knowledge to highlight value-added solutions that meet customer needs and drive renewal sales. 

  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with key customers through strategic communication and exceptional service to ensure satisfaction and loyalty. 

  • Lead renewal sales planning and contribute to the development and execution of comprehensive sales strategies. 

  • Create, update, and analyze detailed reports on subscription activities, contract status, and renewal performance metrics. 

  • Continuously enhance knowledge about product offerings and market trends to improve renewal sales effectiveness. 

  • Drive the achievement of sales and renewal targets and provide strategic insights to leadership. 

  • Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. 

  • Provide regular updates and insights on renewal opportunities and deliver accurate forecasts to leadership. 

  • Utilize and optimize all sales tools and technologies to enhance sales processes and outcomes. 

  • Contribute to the overall sales strategy, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.

This is a dynamic team that manages renewal sales, leveraging product knowledge and sales techniques to drive revenue and growth with existing customers. Hours of Work   

  • Core business hours in your time zone with the flexibility to support global clients in other time zones as needed.
  • This position can be performed remotely or near any of our US offices.

Compensation

The expected base salary for this position is between $90,000 - 110,000 USD per year plus a commission plan of $40,000-45,000 sales target.  Individual pay is based upon experience, education, skill and ability, expertise, and relevant factors. In addition to a competitive remuneration package, you will be eligible to participate in a benefits package that includes medical, dental, prescription drug, life insurance, 401k with match, long term disability coverage, vacation, sick time, volunteer time, discount programs, and more.
