Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Renewal Account Manager to drive renewals and revenue growth from our most strategic, high-value customer accounts. This fully, remote, individual contributor role combines hands-on account management with mentorship and leadership responsibilities, helping to develop best practices across the Renewals team. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of meeting/exceeding renewal and upsell targets while fostering long-term customer relationships and coaching peers.
In this role, you will report to the Director of Account Management and partner closely with Customer Success and Regional Sales Managers to secure the renewal revenue and grow contracted business. You will manage a portfolio of high-value, strategic accounts, leading the renewal process while providing mentorship and guidance to the team.

Responsibilities
- Own the renewal process for strategic, high-value accounts and consistently meet/exceed revenue and retention goals
- Identify and close up-sell and cross-sell opportunities within the assigned portfolio
- Collaborate with Customer Success to proactively engage customers, identify risks, and develop strategic action plans for successful, timely renewals
- Mentor and provide guidance to other Renewal Account Managers, sharing best practices, coaching on complex accounts, and supporting skill development
- Lead executive-level customer presentations, renewal negotiations, and partnership reviews
- Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and Salesforce data hygiene
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to align strategies, share insights, and drive organizational growth goals
- 3–5+ years experience in Sales, Account Management, or Customer Success, with a focus on renewals (experience with high-value or strategic accounts preferred)
- Proven track record of exceeding renewal and revenue targets
- Experience with education-based SaaS solutions strongly preferred
- Strong leadership, mentorship, and coaching skills
- B.A. or B.S. degree
- Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and a growth mindset
- Strong strategic account management and customer relationship skills
- Executive-level communication and presentation skills
- Ability to mentor, coach, and influence team members
- Analytical and data-driven decision-making
- Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM systems
- Collaboration, persuasion, and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated, highly organized, and results-oriented
Salary $70,000 - $90,000 DOE + Uncapped Commission Potential + Benefits
