About Faire

Faire is an online wholesale marketplace built on the belief that the future is local — independent retailers around the globe are doing more revenue than Walmart and Amazon combined, but individually, they are small compared to these massive entities. At Faire, we're using the power of tech, data, and machine learning to connect this thriving community of entrepreneurs across the globe. Picture your favorite boutique in town — we help them discover the best products from around the world to sell in their stores. With the right tools and insights, we believe that we can level the playing field so that small businesses everywhere can compete with these big box and e-commerce giants.

By supporting the growth of independent businesses, Faire is driving positive economic impact in local communities, globally. We’re looking for smart, resourceful and passionate people to join us as we power the shop local movement. If you believe in community, come join ours.

You operate proactively, balancing speed with rigor, and are committed to delivering a seamless and inclusive candidate experience.

  • Partner closely with hiring managers and senior stakeholders to deeply understand role requirements and design structured and equitable interview processes
  • Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies across multiple channels (including outbound, referrals, and events) to attract high-quality, diverse talent
  • Lead the offer process through acceptance and ensure a smooth transition into onboarding
  • Maintain strong data hygiene within our applicant tracking system and reporting tools to provide transparent, actionable reporting on pipeline health and hiring progress
  • Serve as a steward of Faire’s culture, championing our values: We serve our community, We seek the truth, We are all owners, We embrace the adventure, We are kind
  • Contribute to building an inclusive, equitable, and high-performing team environment

Qualifications

  • 4+ year of full-cycle recruiting experience in a fast-pace environment
  • You are resourceful, proactive and take initiative on helping to solve complex talent puzzles
  • You are passionate about recruiting
  • You are organized and have excellent time management skills
  • You care deeply about the candidate experience and employer brand, with impeccable attention to detail
  • You have excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • You are data driven and have experience managing weekly pipeline reporting

Salary Range

San Francisco: the pay range for this role is $141,000 to $194,000 per year.

This role will also be eligible for equity and benefits. Actual base pay will be determined based on permissible factors such as transferable skills, work experience, market demands, and primary work location. The base pay range provided is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

Hybrid Faire employees currently go into the office 3 days per week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and a third flex day of their choosing (Monday, Wednesday, or Friday). Additionally, hybrid in-office roles will have the flexibility to work remotely up to 4 weeks per year. Specific Workplace and Information Technology positions may require onsite attendance 5 days per week as will be indicated in the job posting.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
