At Marmon Electrical, you play a vital role in keeping the world moving forward.The Electrical Group Senior Recruiter will be responsible for executing recruitment strategies and managing full-cycle recruiting activities for salaried employees to meet the staffing needs of the Electrical Group's business units. Reporting directly to the Group Talent Acquisition Manager, this role will focus on individual contributor tasks while providing high-level stakeholder management. The Senior Recruiter will collaborate closely with hiring managers, HR Business Partners (HRBP), and local leadership to attract top talent and ensure a seamless hiring process.
What You'll Do:
Full Recruitment Function Management:
- Partner with local HR and hiring managers to assess staffing needs, create job descriptions, and execute effective recruitment strategies.
- Work closely with HRBPs and leadership to align talent acquisition efforts with organizational goals, focusing on professional-level, salaried positions.
- Leverage Workday HRIS system to accurately track and report on recruiting metrics, analyze trends and adjust strategies as needed.
Intake and Job Description Development:
- Conduct comprehensive intake calls to understand hiring requirements and provide insights on job descriptions and competencies in collaboration with Business Unit HRBPs and Hiring Managers.
Market Understanding and Recruiting Strategy:
- Stay updated on market trends and industry insights, as well as internal equity, to develop and implement effective recruiting plans and process improvements.
- Support employer branding & outreach. Create internal and external recruitment marketing strategies using various mediums including print, websites and LinkedIn.
Candidate Sourcing and Screening:
- Utilize various resources, including job boards, referrals, networking, and social media, to identify and screen qualified candidates.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of potential candidates for future hiring needs.
Recruiting Campaigns:
- Collaborate with HRBP to develop and execute recruiting campaigns for challenging-to-fill roles.
- Recommend and attend relevant virtual and in-person recruiting events such as industry associations and college career fairs.
Stakeholder Management:
- Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, providing regular updates on status and metrics, and ensuring alignment on recruitment strategies and processes.
Additional Duties:
- Perform other duties or execute on talent projects or training of managers/HR as assigned.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field with 5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong preference for experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Experience with Workday is a plus.
- Targeted Selection Behavioral Interviewing certification is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work remotely
- Ability to travel to recruiting events or hiring locations within the U.S. as needed (20-25% travel)
- Preference for NH, CT, or AL residence due to proximity to key business locations
- In-depth knowledge of recruiting practices and techniques.
- Ability to handle high-volume full life-cycle recruiting.
- Understanding of applicable laws and regulations, processes, and procedures related to full-cycle recruiting and talent acquisition.
- Exceptional integrity and ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Strong initiative, multitasking abilities, project management skills, and effective workflow prioritization.
Pay Range:
76,000.00 - 114,000.00We offer a comprehensive benefits package that may include medical, dental, vision, 401k matching, and more!
