Min fees. Max ease. Full speed.

Whether people and businesses are sending money to another country, spending abroad, or making and receiving international payments, Wise is on a mission to make their lives easier and save them money.

As part of our team, you will be helping us create an entirely new network for the world's money.
For everyone, everywhere.

More about our mission and what we offer.

Job Description

Wise is evolving how money moves around the world. To do that, we need a talent powerhouse to scale our Americas HQ in Austin. As a Senior GTM Recruiter, you aren’t just filling seats; you are a talent consultant helping our Go-To-Market leaders build the engine that drives our regional growth.

Reporting to the Recruiting Leader, you will act as a strategic partner, leveraging data and deep market knowledge to find the builders and problem-solvers who fit our unique culture.

Key Objectives

  • GTM Strategy & Execution: Own the full-cycle recruitment for high-impact GTM roles. You’ll translate business goals into talent maps, ensuring we hire the right people at the right time.

  • Executive Partnership: Act as a peer to senior leaders. You’ll challenge assumptions, provide "real talk" on market conditions, and guide hiring managers toward the best talent decisions.

  • The "Candidate-First" Bar: Maintain a gold standard for candidate experience. Whether they get the job or not, every candidate should leave their interaction with Wise feeling respected and informed.

  • Data as a Compass: Move beyond simple metrics. Use pipeline data, conversion rates, and market insights to identify bottlenecks and pivot strategies in real-time.

Austin Ecosystem Connector: Represent Wise in the local Austin community. You’ll partner with Employer Brand to host events and initiatives that make Wise the most sought-after employer in the Silicon Hills.

What You'll Do:

  • Scale the Region: Drive hiring across the North America, focusing on the specialized needs of GTM teams.

  • Creative Sourcing: Go beyond LinkedIn. Use your network, niche communities, and innovative tools to find "passive" talent who aren't looking but should be.

  • Process Optimization: Constantly audit our hiring loops to ensure they are inclusive, efficient, and bias-free.

Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of the curve on Austin’s talent trends, salary benchmarks, and competitor moves to keep Wise competitive.

Qualifications

  • The GTM Specialist: 7+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a heavy emphasis on GTM within a high-growth SaaS or FinTech environment.

  • Austin Insider: Deep knowledge of the local talent market and a network that allows you to hit the ground running.

  • Strategic Influence: Proven ability to manage and influence Senior level stakeholders. You know how to say "no" when a candidate isn't a fit, even when the pressure to hire is high.

  • Analytical Mindset: You are comfortable in an ATS and can tell a story using data to drive business decisions.

  • Mission-Driven: You don’t just want a job; you want to contribute to our mission of "Money Without Borders."

Additional Information

For everyone, everywhere. We're people building money without borders  — without judgement or prejudice, too. We believe teams are strongest when they are diverse, equitable and inclusive.

We're proud to have a truly international team, and we celebrate our differences.
Inclusive teams help us live our values and make sure every Wiser feels respected, empowered to contribute towards our mission and able to progress in their careers.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
