Human Interest is on a mission to ensure that people in all lines of work have access to retirement benefits.

More than half of all working Americans are not saving enough for their future. Too often, it’s because they are employed by a company that doesn’t offer a retirement plan. Human Interest is changing that by making it affordable and accessible for small and medium-sized businesses to offer employees a path to financial independence through retirement savings.

We’re a high-growth fintech company changing the retirement industry. We are backed by a number of investors. This includes funding from Marshall Wace and Baillie Gifford, as well as top investors such as BlackRock, TPG (The Rise Fund), SoftBank, Glynn Capital, NewView Capital, USVP, Wing, Uncork, and more.

We’re a high-growth fintech company backed by top investors including BlackRock, SoftBank, and TPG. We are looking for a Senior GTM Recruiter to help us scale our most critical revenue-generating and support functions.

About the role

As a Senior GTM Recruiter, you will be a full-cycle owner responsible for the entire hiring lifecycle for our Sales and Go-To-Market organizations. This is a high-impact role that requires the speed of a Sales Recruiter and the strategic mindset of a Business Partner. You will attract top-tier talent for roles ranging from SDRs and Account Executives to Sales Leadership, Marketing, and Operations.

What you get to do every day

  • Drive Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage the end-to-end process for a portfolio of diverse roles (Sales, Marketing, CS&O, and Leadership), from strategic sourcing and interviewing to complex offer negotiations and closing.
  • Lead Hiring Partner Consultation: Act as a strategic advisor to Revenue leadership. Facilitate weekly hiring meetings, provide expert guidance on market trends, and lead talent assessment recalibrations.
  • Strategic Sourcing: Build and maintain a robust pipeline of passive talent using LinkedIn Recruiter and other innovative sourcing channels, ensuring we always have a "warm" bench for high-attrition or high-growth areas.
  • Champion Candidate Experience: Embody Human Interest’s values, ensuring every candidate—regardless of the outcome—has an exceptional and transparent experience.
  • Maintain Operational Excellence: Use Greenhouse and interview intelligence tools (like BrightHire) to track metrics, identify bottlenecks, and drive data-driven improvements in our hiring velocity.
  • Contribute to Strategic Projects: Lead or participate in TA initiatives such as employer branding, DEI sourcing strategies, and process optimization to "raise the bar" for talent across the org.

What you bring to the role

  • 5+ years of in-house full-cycle recruiting experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment (Fintech or SaaS preferred).
  • Dual Expertise: A proven track record of successfully hiring for high-volume sales roles and complex GTM/Corporate functions.
  • Expert Sourcing: Advanced proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter and a proactive "headhunter" mindset for passive talent.
  • Consultative Approach: Exceptional communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and business leaders.
  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to use data to tell a story, identify hiring trends, and solve recruiting challenges.
  • Adaptability: A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to navigate the ambiguity of a scaling startup.
  • Remote Fluency: Self-motivated and highly effective working independently in a remote environment.

Nice to have

  • Expertise with Greenhouse ATS.
  • Familiarity with BrightHire or other interview intelligence platforms.
  • Ability to work in all US time zones.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
