BHFT is a proprietary algorithmic trading firm. Our team manages the full trading cycle, from software development to creating and coding strategies and algorithms.
Our trading operations cover key exchanges. The firm trades across a broad range of asset classes, including equities, equity derivatives, options, commodity futures, rates futures, etc. We employ a diverse and growing array of algorithmic trading strategies, utilizing both HFT and MFT approaches.
We’ve got a team of 200+ professionals, with a strong emphasis on technology. Our employees are located all around the world, from the United States to Hong Kong. Although we maintain office spaces, we currently operate as a 100% remote organization.

Job Description

We are a fast-growing proprietary trading firm operating at the intersection of technology, data, and markets. We're looking for a Senior Recruiter to join our mission of building world-class talent pipelines in the highly competitive quant space.

As a Senior Recruiter, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and hiring top-tier talent across C-level/executive roles. You’ll bring a deep understanding of executive search, leverage your existing network, and drive full-cycle recruiting in a fast-paced, high-bar environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the full recruitment lifecycle for C-level/executive roles.

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and team dynamics.

  • Proactively source high-caliber candidates through your network, headhunting, events, and online platforms.

  • Manage pipelines and talent pools, conduct initial screens, and coordinate technical assessments and interviews.

  • Develop and refine recruiting strategies to target passive talent in competitive markets.

  • Create competency profiles and talent mappings.

  • Maintain data integrity in our ATS and provide regular updates to stakeholders.

  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, etc.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in recruitment, with at least 4 years focused on executive search.

  • A strong network of executive-level candidates.

  • Understanding of how to do talent mappings and how to work with potential talent pools.

  • Excellent sourcing, headhunting, and candidate engagement skills.

  • Familiarity with compensation structures, candidate motivations, and competitive intelligence in the space.

  • A data-driven, organized, and proactive approach to recruiting.

  • High integrity, discretion, and ability to navigate sensitive negotiations.

  • Experience working in fast-paced, high-performance teams.

  • Global hiring experience (e.g., US, UK, EU, APAC).

  • HFT or Capital Markets experience is a plus.
