At HubSpot, we’re on a mission to grow better — and that starts with hiring exceptional people who power the teams that keep our company running. As a Senior Recruiter supporting our Company Pillar (People, Legal, Finance & Facilities), you’ll play a critical role in shaping how we attract, engage, and hire the talent that fuels the core teams driving HubSpot forward — the people who make it possible for our company, customers, and culture to thrive.

This isn’t just another recruiting role, it’s an opportunity to influence how hiring happens across some of HubSpot’s most essential functions. You’ll partner closely with business leaders, drive an inclusive and data-informed hiring strategy, and leverage cutting-edge AI and recruiting tools that streamline sourcing, simplify workflows, and free up time to focus on what matters most — building meaningful relationships with candidates. With the autonomy to shape both the hiring manager experience (from defining roles to building processes and making decisions) and the candidate journey end to end, you’ll help set a new standard for what “remarkable” hiring looks like at HubSpot.

In this role, you’ll:
  • Own and drive full-cycle recruiting for roles across our People, Legal, Finance, and Facilities teams — the core groups that keep HubSpot operating effectively and scaling sustainably.
  • Strategically partner with hiring managers, acting as a trusted advisor through every phase, from role definition and process design to offer negotiation.
  • Champion an exceptional candidate experience, ensuring every interaction is transparent, inclusive, and aligned with HubSpot’s values.
  • Leverage HubSpot’s AI-powered recruiting stack to source smarter, automate repetitive tasks, and make informed decisions that improve efficiency and impact.
  • Use data to influence decisions, advising stakeholders on market insights, process improvements, and hiring performance metrics.
  • Design and refine interview processes that are efficient, equitable, and predictive of future success.
  • Continuously innovate — experiment with new tools, workflows, and strategies to enhance both the candidate and hiring manager experience.
We’re looking for someone who:
  • Brings 8+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally across G&A or corporate functions.
  • Operates with autonomy and curiosity, balancing strategic partnership with hands-on execution.
  • Communicates with empathy, clarity, and influence across all levels of the organization.
  • Is energized by using AI and data to streamline work and make smarter, faster recruiting decisions.
  • Believes deeply that great companies are built by great people, and is passionate about building teams that help others thrive.
  • Thinks critically, adapts quickly, and seeks continuous improvement in themselves and their processes.

If you join our broader Product team, you’ll also attend other in-person events such as your Product Group Summit and other gatherings to continue building on those connections.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
