About the Position

The Business Development Senior Recruiter supports Dexis’ growth by leading the delivery of business development recruiting and staffing for US and international-based positions. This includes sourcing, identifying, engaging, coordinating qualified talent, and recommending hiring decisions in support of new business pursuits, capture efforts and proposals across the defense and national security portfolio. The Recruiter works closely with proposal managers, capture managers, and technical leadership to ensure Dexis is positioned with credible, compliant, and well-aligned candidates for competitive bids. They will lead efforts to attract competitive talent through networking and employing traditional sourcing strategies and developing new, creative recruiting approaches. The recruiter will leverage a network of cleared candidates for positions. This role requires sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.

Responsibilities
  • Support new business and capture efforts by sourcing, generating leads, identifying, screening, interviewing and engaging candidates for business development efforts
  • Identify and build a network of security cleared individuals across various technical areas for proposals, in particular for the Department of Defense.
  • Identify and qualify Key Personnel and specialized technical roles aligned to RFP and PWS requirements.
  • Conduct targeted outreach to incumbents, former incumbents, and subject matter experts.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and a pipeline of strategic technical area experts, as well as broadly recruits mid and senior level talent for new opportunities.
  • Partner with Business Development, capture, and technical leads to understand labor categories, qualifications, and timelines.
  • Develops and posts job ads, acquiring necessary approvals through our recruitment system.
  • Conduct initial candidate conversations to assess experience, availability, and alignment with pursuit needs.
  • Collect, review, and refine resumes to support proposal compliance and evaluation criteria.
  • Track candidate status, commitment levels, and contingencies across multiple concurrent pursuits.
  • Maintain accurate recruiting records and exercise discretion when working with sensitive candidate populations.
  • Provide insight to Business Development teams on market availability, compensation considerations, and recruiting risk.
Qualifications 
  • Bachelors degree
  • Minimum of six (6) years of recruiting experience, including USG business development efforts.
  • Experience recruiting for positions supporting the Department of War including cleared personnel.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with competing and changing priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills and sound professional judgment.
  • High level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with RFPs, PWSs, labor categories, and proposal timelines.
  • Experience engaging incumbents and niche technical candidates.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, be able to interact effectively, and in a professional, tactful manner with candidates, employees, and senior management.
  • Prior experience in a small or mid-sized government contracting environment.
  • Proficient in using applicant tracking software.
  • Knowledge of employment laws, OFCCP, and EEO regulations, standard HR practices and procedures.
  • Active or prior security clearance preferred.

Below is the pay range aligned with this position. When developing a range, Dexis evaluates compensation holistically, triangulating between external market research, our budget for the position, and internal equity to arrive at a figure that is fair and competitive. Offers within this range will be based on an individual candidate's qualification, relevant education and experience, skills, performance, and organizational needs.

Dexis pay range for this role:
$100,000$115,000 USD
