As a Senior Software Quality Engineer at net2phone, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of software quality. This includes both manual testing of new features and the development and maintenance of automated tests.
 
Key responsibilities:
 
  • Act in quality assurance and control, including functional, regression, and usability testing.
  • Analyze software requirements and develop appropriate test cases.
  • Conducting manual testing for new software features.
  • Developing and maintaining automated tests using Java or C#.
  • Writing and implementing UI and API tests.
  • Integrating work with CI/CD tools.
  • Proactive participation in incident review, adjusting the quality improvement strategy depending on the causes of incidents.
  • Collaborating within a Scrum environment.
  • Implementing new quality requirements (testing, releases) in the team if needed.
  • Formulating a quality improvement strategy.
  • Advocating for compliance with quality requirements in the team.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in Software Quality Assurance.
  • Competence in Java or C# for test automation.
  • A strong understanding of the principles of RESTful services and web application architecture.
  • Demonstrated experience in both manual and automated testing.
  • Experience in developing and implementing testing strategies, including both automated and manual approaches to testing.
  • Professional in UI and API testing.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools.
  • Proficiency in Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira and Testrail.
  • Nice-to-have skills:

  • Experience or knowledge in performance testing.
