Job Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior QA Engineer to join our product team. As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our no-code mobile app and web application builder platform. Your primary responsibility will be to perform thorough manual testing of our applications and identify any defects or issues that may impact the user experience. Additionally, your expertise in automation testing will be an added advantage in optimizing our testing processes.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to verify the functionality, usability, and performance of our mobile app and web application builder platform.
  • Conduct manual testing of new features, enhancements, and bug fixes to identify defects and ensure a high level of product quality.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and designers to understand product requirements and provide valuable feedback during the development cycle.
  • Continuously improve our QA processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our testing efforts.
  • Identify, report, and track software defects using issue tracking systems, and work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
  • Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionality remains intact after new changes or updates are implemented.
  • Conduct exploratory testing to uncover potential areas of improvement or user experience issues.
  • Collaborate with automation engineers to design and implement automated test scripts, frameworks, and tools for regression and performance testing.

Technical Profile

  • Proficient in creating test plans, test cases, and test scripts from functional and technical specifications.
  • Experience in identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects using issue tracking systems.
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, best practices, and industry standards.
  • Solid knowledge of software testing principles, including test design, test execution, and defect management.
  • Experience with test management tools and version control systems.
  • Familiarity with mobile platforms (iOS and Android) and their specific testing challenges.
