You're an experienced QA professional with deep knowledge of the mortgage industry, particularly in loan origination. You know the ins and outs of platforms like LOS, pricing engines, or lock desk systems, and you’re confident in manually testing complex, business-critical workflows. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are eager to work alongside a team that values collaboration, precision, and continuous improvement. What You’ll Do:
- Own the quality assurance process for mortgage-focused features, with a strong emphasis on manual testing of Loan Origination Systems (LOS) and related platforms.
- Translate business requirements into clear and detailed test plans and test cases.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to understand workflows across loan origination, pricing, and lock desk operations.
- Execute manual test cases and document outcomes thoroughly.
- Identify, log, and track bugs to resolution using approved tools and processes.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, and requirements walkthroughs.
- Act as a champion for quality across the development lifecycle, especially where mortgage specific logic is involved.
What You Have:
- 5+ years of experience testing web-based or SaaS applications, with a focus on manual testing.
- Direct experience with mortgage platforms such as Loan Origination Systems (LOS), pricing engines, or lock desk tools.
- Strong knowledge of mortgage workflows and business logic.
- Ability to design, document, and execute detailed test cases aligned to industry-specific requirements.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in Agile product teams.
