POSITION OVERVIEW

The IT Project Manager is responsible for defining, planning, executing, and implementing high priority complex projects that deliver intended outcomes. This role requires a strong collaborative communicator with technical knowledge, project management expertise, and an ability to lead cross-functional teams. As a member of the IT Delivery Team, the IT Project Manager will collaborate with senior leadership, technical and subject matter experts, and project stakeholders to design, implement, and support the systems and service that enable our employees’ success. The IT Project Manager job duties will include business analysis, requirements gathering, project planning, project execution management, risk management, and project resource management is required.


RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Responsible for the overall planning, budget planning, coordination, execution, control, and completion of assigned projects.
  • Develop detailed work plans, including project milestones, risk assessment and management plans, and project timelines.
  • Identify, schedule, and assign project activities, tasks and milestones.
  • Provide direction and support to team members.
  • Manage communication with project teams, stakeholders, and senior leadership.
  • Implement and facilitate change management within assigned projects.
  • Drive decision-making as it relates to project activities.
  • Identify, document, escalate and address project risks and issues.
  • Remove barriers for the project team and stakeholders.
  • Create a collaborative project teamwork environment.
  • Utilizing a combination of agile, lean and waterfall principles to successfully complete projects.
  • Other tasks and activities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 10+ years of IT experience
  • 10+ years with project management experience, independently managing IT projects.
  • Sound knowledge of project management methodologies
  • Extensive experience working directly with senior leadership on multiple projects, maintaining good relationships and trust
  • Experience in waterfall and agile methodology.
  • Experience with large cross-functional projects integrating different enterprise platforms and applications
  • Customer-centric in spirit and in execution.
  • Proven and robust experience driving cross-functional, high impact, high visibility projects.
  • Able to navigate complex organizations and ambiguous projects.
  • Comfortable influencing others, facilitating teams, managing stakeholders, getting buy-in from leadership, and communicating clearly.
  • Critical thinker able to know when and how to work autonomously and collaboratively.
  • Skilled active listener, excel at summarizing information, and identifying key take-aways and areas of focus.
  • Passionate about fostering healthy communication, inspired leadership, effective management, and outstanding teamwork.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to lead, motivate and direct project teams.
  • Experience leading projects as a Business Analyst is strongly preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • General office environment and responsibilities requiring:
    • Extensive use of the computer which involves viewing a monitor and keyboarding for most of the workday.
    • Placing and receiving phone calls.
    • Occasionally moving and lifting objects up to 20 pounds.
    • May require travel if needed.
