The Senior Project Manager will oversee project execution, manage resources and budgets, ensure timely delivery, and communicate with stakeholders while utilizing Agile methodologies.

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with extensive experience in leading program and project execution across different levels of scale and complexity. This individual will coordinate, interface, and communicate with both internal and external stakeholders. As the Senior Project Manager, you will have the expertise to ensure the successful completion of projects by applying best practices from Project Management frameworks and Agile principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for managing the execution and timely delivery of engagements from start to finish.
- Manage the entire Project Management Life Cycle, including resources, budgets, and project schedules.
- Be held accountable for developing a consolidated view of the project deliverables, milestones, roadmaps, and iterations/sprints/schedules to meet on-time deliveries within the scope and budget, ensuring visibility and the highest client satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively, including providing direction and feedback to relevant stakeholders, managing expectations and conflicts or obstacles, and addressing unexpected difficulties.
- Identify, track, and resolve project risks, issues, and dependencies using best-practice problem-solving techniques.
- Define and employ effective escalation paths and communicate with relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Lead and facilitate meetings with project stakeholders from all levels, including business relationship meetings and technical team meetings to determine progress and facilitate resolution to questions or challenges.
- Leverage traditional project management and Agile practices to deliver projects, including backlog/requirements refinement, sprints/iteration planning and execution, clarifying a definition-of-done, team communication, progress visualization, retrospectives, and demos.
- Track and provide weekly budget and status reporting for project engagements.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently at various levels of maturity.
Skills & Experience
- Strong verbal/oral/written communication skills.
- Ability to clearly understand the overall vision, scale, scope, expected outcomes, business impact, and milestones of their engagements.
- Proven project leadership skills, ability to quickly organize teams towards a project goal with little to no supervision.
- Proficiency with tools including Azure DevOps, Jira, and GitHub.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and change by applying proven project management skills.
- Ability to build trust and create relationships with internal teams and with external stakeholders through interpersonal skills like mentoring and coaching.
- Proficient in the technical skills of an Agile Project Manager, including strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with a focus on details.
- 10+ years’ experience working as a full-lifecycle project manager using modern Agile Project Management methodologies.
- 5+ years’ experience leading Scrum events and backlog refinement sessions.
- 8+ years of hands-on experience managing business or technical project budgets, risks, and issues.
- 5+ years of experience leading and managing projects within consulting (professional and managed services projects)
- Experience in leading cloud transformation projects using Azure or AWS (Datacenter Migration, Azure DevOps, App Modernization, etc.)
