The Job At-A-Glance:

Q2 is seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Senior Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of features and functionality for our Integrated Services clients. You will lead implementation team(s) consisting of technical and non-technical resources to execute client initiatives.

As the Project Manager, you are responsible for ensuring that Support, Development, Product, and other Q2 teams collaborate effectively with client(s) to implement custom upgrades and enhancements to assist our clients with staying relevant and competitive in their respective markets and product offerings. You will ensure the quality and completeness of requirements, drive target dates, identify key risks, and ensure mitigation strategies are in place.

A Typical Day:

  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to ensure timely delivery.
  • Cultivate a collaborative and high-performing team environment, driving success through effective communication and leadership.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams, ensuring project goals and timelines are aligned.
  • Support resolutions for escalations in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Execute and deliver on client initiatives, milestones, and timelines.
  • Ensure alignment with client objectives and prioritization through efficiently utilizing team resources within a Sprint cycle.
  • Maintain meeting notes, risk logs, project timelines, and other key artifacts.
  • Coordinate and oversee release management activities including release notes and release runbook to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Drive and align cross-functional teams to achieve shared project goals in a matrixed environment.

Bring Your Passion, Do What You Love. Here’s What We’re Looking For:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in (relevant degree) and a minimum of 8 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with 6+ years of experience; or equivalent related work experience
  • Minimum of 3 years operating as a Project Manager.
  • High emotional intelligence and ability to self-regulate when handling challenges, delays, or unexpected issues.
  • Strong command of iterative development practices and agile methodologies, including sprint planning, execution, and delivery.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with a proven ability to engage clients and team members at all levels.
  • Strong teamwork, organization, and problem-resolution skills, with a focus on driving results.
  • Exceptional client communication and escalation management ability.
  • Proficient with JIRA and/or other project management tools.
  • Preferred: 
    • Experience with Core Conversion projects.
    • Experience with Merger and Acquisition projects.

This position requires fluent written and oral communication in English.
