Vonage has created the Business Critical Transformation (BCT) Office to be responsible for driving and monitoring compliance against Vonage’s CFIUS (Committee on Foreign Investments in the United States) requirements following the acquisition of Vonage by Ericsson. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and strategic Senior CFIUS Project Manager to join this growing team.

The Senior CFIUS Project Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing complex projects aimed at enhancing the compliance framework within the organization. You will manage multiple transformational initiatives designed to ensure sustained compliance with CFIUS regulatory requirements. Your role will include providing leadership to cross-functional teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with high-quality standards. You will also be a key stakeholder in driving compliance strategies and preparing for audits. The ideal candidate will have a proven leadership track record, excellent communication skills, and extensive experience in project management and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coordinate, and execute large-scale compliance projects, partnering with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure compliance policies and procedures are effectively integrated into Vonage’s operations.
  • Manage project teams, including assigning roles and responsibilities, providing guidance, and overseeing progress.
  • Actively track project progress, manage resources, and adjust project scope, timelines, and priorities as needed.
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks, and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal standards.
  • Drive change management processes and ensure that all change controls are properly executed.
  • Regularly document and communicate project updates, including meeting agendas, minutes, action items, and issue logs.
  • Prepare, lead, and coordinate audits, collaborating with external partners and internal teams to ensure smooth execution.
  • Provide mentoring and coaching to junior project managers and team members.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in project management, with a proven ability to lead complex compliance projects and initiatives.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience managing teams and interacting with senior stakeholders.
  • Expert-level problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to address complex regulatory challenges.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, ever-evolving regulatory and corporate environment.
  • Deep knowledge and experience with government regulations and compliance frameworks.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience:

  • 6+ years of experience in Project Management, with at least 2 years in a senior role or managing compliance-driven projects.
