About Supernal AI

What We Do

Supernal hires, trains, and manages “AI Employees” for you—complete, end-to-end digital teammates that plug straight into your stack and start delivering real work (e.g. updating CRM records, reconciling invoices, answering customer calls, building slides) from day one. In short, we make AI useful for business, not just another chatbot experiment.

Why It’s Special

Human × Machine chemistry. We’ve spent a decade perfecting human-in-the-loop operations, so quality and safety aren’t afterthoughts—they’re baked in.
Model-agnostic, persona-driven. Instead of betting the farm on one LLM, we pick the best model for each task, wrap it in a persona that sounds like your brand, and keep refining it with real feedback.
Managed AI as a Service. You get a builder to configure the workflow, an AI Employee to run the workflow, and a human manager who monitors logs, retrains, and continuously tunes performance. That combination means your bot keeps getting better while your team sleeps.
Enterprise-grade trust. SOC 2, HIPAA, encryption-at-rest, and a public Trust Center mean the compliance folks nod “yes” instead of “not yet.”

How We Do It

Accelerated client onboarding - We run discovery workshops, wire up API keys, and prototype the core flows so clients see output in days, not quarters.
Iterative launch. Weekly demos with SMEs tighten prompts, edge-case rules, and hand-off logic until KPIs hit target.
24 × 7 stewardship. Post-go-live, our ops engineers shadow every conversation and decision the AI makes, applying fixes and retraining on the fly.
Simple tiers. Start with a single Ready-to-Work AI Employee or spin up a custom team; month-to-month or annual contracts scale with your ambition.

The Role

As a Senior Project Manager at Supernal, you are accountable for the controllable success or failure of your projects. Success means delivering on time and to specification with a great client experience. If any element is at risk, you investigate root causes and drive timely mitigation with clear communication and structured planning.
You are the single-threaded owner from kickoff through handover to ongoing maintenance and support. You’ll work closely with our Field Engineering Lead (Lead AI Mason)—a technical expert who helps validate effort estimates and handles technical building—to ensure they execute predictably and transparently.

Key ResponsibilitiesPlanning & Alignment
  • Define scope, objectives, deliverables, and success metrics.

  • Break work into milestones, dependencies, and timelines.

  • Identify and track risks, assumptions, and mitigation plans early.

  • Manage the Build → Subscription transition—the riskiest client phase—with clear successful exit criteria and readiness plans.

Execution & Tracking
  • Own all reporting for your clients—depth, accuracy, completeness.

  • Lead all written and verbal communication, including weekly client syncs.

  • Drill into project details; question “green” statuses constructively and validate progress with AI Masons.

  • Proactively schedule internal syncs to align teams and resolve blockers.

  • Maintain system hygiene across all project tools.

  • Continuously verify SoW and contractual alignment against actual delivery.

Communication & Collaboration
  • Communicate transparently—share status, blockers, and decisions early.

  • Manage stakeholders with clarity, structure, and expectation alignment.

  • Maintain a single source of truth for documentation.

  • Partner with the Lead AI Mason to verify scoping and resource needs.

Delivery & Quality
  • Meet deadlines or raise risks early with mitigation options.

  • Ensure testing, validation, and reviews are completed—never assumed.

  • Conduct structured post-mortems to capture learnings and improvement actions.

Leadership & Ownership
  • Take full ownership for results, end-to-end.

  • Anticipate issues and propose solutions—not just problems.

  • Track commitments, actions, and owners; escalate blockers promptly.

  • Model proactive, structured communication and disciplined follow-through.

About You
  • 6–10+ years managing complex programs (SaaS, AI, and automation experience a plus)

  • Proven record of on-time, to-spec delivery with high client satisfaction.

  • Deep experience in scope definition, planning, risk, and change management.

  • Strong communicator—structured, concise, and transparent.

  • Skilled at probing assumptions, validating data, and driving decisions.

  • Hands-on with PM tools.

  • Confident operating across technical and executive stakeholder levels.

  • Familiar with our core stack: workflow automation (n8n), low-code frontends (e.g. Lovable), databases (e.g. Supabase), webhooks, HTTP requests, APIs, etc.

Success Metrics May Include
  • Milestone hit rate and schedule variance.

  • Build → Subscription conversion rate and time-to-subscription.

  • Client CSAT and stakeholder engagement.

  • Quality KPIs (defects, rework, validation pass rate).

  • Reporting timeliness and PM system hygiene.

  • Profitability and retention metrics.

Why You’ll Love Working Here
  • Help make AI genuinely useful for businesses—delivering measurable outcomes, not prototypes.

  • Lead end-to-end programs that directly shape client success.

  • Work in a culture of ownership, transparency, and continuous improvement.

  • Collaborate with talented engineers, operators, and builders pushing the frontier of applied AI.

Equal Opportunity

Supernal AI is an equal-opportunity employer. We celebrate diverse backgrounds and perspectives and are committed to an inclusive environment for all teammates.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
