JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Consumer Technologies team in Fremont, CA. If you are a natural organizer, communicator, and leader, and want to drive meaningful results- this could be a great role for you. In this role you will not only take ownership of key initiatives, manage timelines, and keep everything moving smoothly, but do much more!
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Managing the implementation of medium to large projects.
  • Manage direct reports.
  • Provides overall leadership and support to project team members.
  • Acts as front-line contact on project related activities, issues, and risks.
  • Manages the project risks and issues and escalates accordingly.
  • Interfaces with Business Unit Leaders, and with Finance and develops ROI, IRR and other financial measures.
  • Manages stakeholders' communication and escalates accordingly.
  • Adheres to program and project governance (controls).
  • Plans the overall project and monitors the progress and performs Daily project management throughout the project's life cycle.
  • Manages the projects budget and financial performance.
  • Coordinates the projects and their interdependencies.
  • Manages and utilizes resources.
  • Aligns the deliverables (outputs) to the project's outcome with the aid of the business change manager.
  • Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices.
  • Performs other duties as directed.

QUALIFICATIONS
SKILLS
  • Strong project management and team leadership skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with sponsor reporting and escalation experience.
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong facilitation, collaboration, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to anticipate risks and devise solutions in the moment.
  • Focused and versatile team player who is comfortable under pressure, ambiguity, frequent change, or unpredictability.
  • Understand current and future business goals and ongoing IT issues to ensure business success.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycles (i.e. Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall, Iterative).
  • In depth understanding of project management concepts.

EXPERIENCE
  • More than four years of project management experience.
  • Experience working on project and portfolio management Tools (Visio, MS Project, Clarity, etc.).

EDUCATION
  • Bachelors' degree in computer science, information technology, business or related field PMP, Prince 2 and/or Agile certification (preferred but not required).

Pay Transparency Verbiage :
Total Rewards: We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career . The estimated salary range for this position is $99,800 to $133,100 and is based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, as well as other factors. This position is eligible for annual bonus compensation with a target payout of 10% of the base salary. This position also provides health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental and financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country. We also provide full-time employees with paid time off including vacation (15 days), holiday including floating holidays (12 days) and sick time off (72 hours).
