BAE Systems is seeking a Senior Program Manager (Program Manager II) to join our team supporting the Department of War (DoW) High Performance Computing Modernization Program (DoD/DOW HPCMP) located in the National Capital Region (NCR). The successful candidate will serve as the deputy contractor lead responsible for the performance of the work supporting the HPCMP contract and provide management oversight of support at four regional HPC centers. This role has full authority to act on behalf of BAE Systems for all matters pertaining to the contract and represents the company in joint meetings with the customer on full range of HPC topics.
This position manages, coordinates, plans, organizes, controls, integrates, and executes a collection of projects supporting HPCMP; ensures achievement of financial, schedule, technical, and new business performance objectives; participates in the support of new business and in the development of financial plans for the company; demonstrates strong leadership in ethics, safety and security; and provides direct people-management as required.
Preferred location is the BAE Systems McLean, VA office.

Full-Time Salary Range: $149603 - $254317

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in finance, business administration, computer science, computer engineering and/or information systems or other related discipline
- Minimum of fifteen (15) years management experience with a minimum of ten (10) years IT organizational support management experience in programs with more than 120 employees and multiple locations; experience can be Federal or private industry.
- Candidates with advance degrees (e.g. Masters or PhD) or recognized industry certifications (e.g. PMI's PMP) may substitute up to 5 years' experience.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

- ITIL v4 Managing Professional desired
- Experience with HPC systems
