As a Senior Program Manager here at Honeywell, you will lead and manage complex aerospace programs ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer requirements. You will be responsible for defining program scope, objectives, and deliverables while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive successful program execution. Your role will include developing and implementing program plans, managing timelines, budgets, and resources, and mitigating risks to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
You will report directly to our Program Director, and you’ll work out of our Torrance, CA location on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the aerospace business by driving operational excellence, fostering innovation, and ensuring the successful delivery of critical aerospace programs that enhance flight safety, efficiency, and sustainability.
 

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
•    Lead and manage aerospace programs to ensure successful execution and delivery aligned with customer and business goals
•    Define program scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with cross-functional teams
•    Develop and implement detailed program plans including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
•    Monitor program progress and ensure adherence to schedules and budgets
•    Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues impacting program delivery
•    Coordinate communication with stakeholders to provide updates and resolve concerns
•    Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize program management processes
 

Qualifications

US CITIZENSHIP
Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements
YOU MUST HAVE
•    Extensive experience in aerospace program management with a proven record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget
•    Strong expertise in defining program scope, resource allocation, budget management, and risk mitigation
•    Proficiency with program management tools and methodologies tailored to aerospace industry requirements
•    In-depth knowledge of aerospace industry standards, regulations, and best practices
WE VALUE
•    EVMP Certification in compliance with EIA-748 Standards
•    Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
•    Experience managing large-scale aerospace or defense programs
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
•    Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive collaboration
•    Adaptability to changing program requirements and business priorities
•    Passion for innovation and continuous improvement

The annual base salary range for this position is $221,000- $280.000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.,
