About the teamAt Zillow, the Sales Learning & Development (L&D) team empowers our Sales and Support professionals to thrive at every stage of their careers and drive business growth.
As part of the Talent Success organization, we develop world-class sales talent—designing and delivering end-to-end learning experiences that elevate performance, inspire confidence, and fuel career growth. We design and deliver end-to-end learning experiences—spanning new hire onboarding, sales skills, sales leadership development, and coaching programs—that help our sales teams perform at their best.
We partner closely with Sales, Support, Enablement, and Operations to ensure every learning experience is relevant, measurable, and tied directly to business outcomes. Our team is made up of program managers, learning experience designers, and Sales L&D leaders who are passionate about creating learning that builds confidence, capability, and impact.

About the role

We’re looking for a Sr. Program Manager to lead and scale strategic learning programs for the GTM organization that build the skills, behaviors, and confidence needed to achieve sales excellence at Zillow.

In this role, you’ll own end-to-end program management, from defining strategy to delivering impactful, data-driven learning experiences. You’ll translate business priorities and performance insights into learning programs that accelerate readiness, enhance selling capabilities, and strengthen our coaching culture.

You’ll also play a central role in bringing our sales methodology, sales competencies, and coaching strategy to life across the organization, from onboarding through ongoing business growth, by standing-up learning experiences that stick. Your programs will help every sales professional know what great looks like, practice it, and sustain it, driving better outcomes for our customers and our business.

This role is ideal for someone who blends strategic acumen, learning program design expertise, and a passion for developing talent at scale.

Success in this role means sales teams are more confident, more capable, and consistently achieving their goals, because you’ve built the learning programs, measurement strategies, and partnerships that make learning stick.

What You’ll Get to Do

Build and Scale

  • Lead strategic sales L&D programs that embed Zillow’s sales methodology, competencies, and coaching framework across lines of business.

  • Develop and scale new hire onboarding and ongoing readiness experiences that improve time-to-productivity, retention, and sales performance.

  • Use data, dashboards, and learning analytics to connect readiness outcomes to key sales metrics (ramp time, attainment, conversion, engagement).

  • Partner with Sales Leaders, Enablement, and Operations to ensure learning solutions align with business priorities, GTM strategy, and customer outcomes.

  • Create scalable frameworks and playbooks that enable consistent adoption of sales excellence practices while allowing for business-specific customization.

  • Pilot and implement AI-driven tools that enhance learning delivery, sales performance, and content accessibility.

Influence and Enable

  • Align learning programs with strategic goals and organizational priorities.

  • Facilitate and reinforce core sales capabilities through engaging workshops, coaching sessions, and field readiness experiences.

  • Drive change management efforts that embed new skills and behaviors across the sales organization.

  • Communicate impact and insights to stakeholders through compelling data storytelling and executive-level presentations.

  • Elevate execution quality, stakeholder management, and measurement discipline.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
