The Success Center of the Foundation for California Community Colleges is seeking a dynamic, equity-driven professional to impact the lives of over 2 million students across 116 campuses by supporting high-quality implementation of Vision 2030.
What You’ll Do
The Rising scholars Network Technical Assistance Provider includes 5 regional coordinators and 1 analyst supporting systemwide reforms. The Rising Scholars Network Senior Program Manager works in alignment with the Chancellor’s Office and the Foundation’s internal teams to ensure the alignment of strategic priorities, stakeholder engagement, and project execution. This role includes high-level project oversight, staff guidance, and cross-team collaboration and alignment to further statewide student success initiatives across the system.
- Manages the Rising Scholars Network TAP Regional Coordinators to align strategic planning, project execution, and reporting related to Rising Scholars Network and Vision 2030 initiatives.
- Supervises junior staff and project support staff, supporting goal setting, development, and performance feedback.
- Interfaces with Chancellor’s Office leadership to discuss and prioritize system policy research and regulatory review needs.
- Attends system meetings, conferences, and other events as appropriate to stay informed of system priorities and commitments and develop partnerships.
- Leads high-impact events and systemwide convenings, including stakeholder engagement strategy and logistics execution.
Attributes for Success
- Minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible experience in project or program management.
- At least 2 years of staff management or team leadership experience.
Familiarity with the California Community Colleges and Rising Scholars Network framework. - Experience in higher education, nonprofit leadership, or statewide reform implementation preferred.
- Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional projects and staff across diverse teams.
- Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to develop and implement strategic processes.

Budgeted Annual Salary Pay Range:
$120,000.00 - $130,000.00Final salary and rates are based on education, experience, skills relevant to the role, and internal equity.
