Woven by Toyota's AD/ADAS (AD/ADAS: Autonomous Driving and Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems) organization, is developing the core algorithms and data driven development infrastructure for safe and robust driving of complex and uncertain real-world environments. Our teams are contributing to next generation autonomy and ADAS active safety systems through core algorithms, data-driven approaches, and efficient architectures.
Our Chief of Staff office provides direct support to the Head of Global AD/ADAS as well as the global leadership team. This office focuses on executive communications, resource management, special projects and ensuring the executive team is aligned on most critical organizational priorities. This Senior Program Manager will work closely with the AD/ADAS Chief of Staff, global operations functions (ie. Legal, Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Supply Chain, Facilities, Marketing, etc) and other chief of staff offices in Woven by Toyota, all in the effort to advance our mission to develop an ever better autonomy application with state-of-the-art methods, tools and processes for Toyota.

The Chief of Staff office is looking for a strategic, organized, and analytical business generalist. This individual demonstrates exceptional business judgment, should excel at using financial and operational data to influence cross-functional stakeholders, and can effectively navigate twists and turns of complex business scenarios to drive improvements & support the team. The ideal candidate will also be attuned to identifying opportunities or roadblocks early to build proactive strategies for the team. RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and support special projects for AD/ADAS line of business
Liaise and align with key cross-functional groups (ie. Legal, Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Supply Chain, Facilities, Marketing, etc) to support AD/ADAS development
Develop strategic messaging and content for executive communications
Pre-align with stakeholders and prepare Head of AD/ADAS for meetings in advance
Proactively identify and resolve problems before they get to Head of AD/ADAS
Act as a trusted thought partner and advisor to Chief of Staff and leadership team
Support leadership and Chief of Staff in strategic planning by providing data-driven insights that can help inform decision-making
Find opportunities to streamline operational processes and implement best practices across the organization
Analyze overall business risks and propose mitigation strategies
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
8+ years of professional experience in business development, business operations, management consulting, or technology
Strong analytical skills, comfort working with dashboards, business intelligence tools, spreadsheet software (e.g., Excel and Google Sheets), and AI based tools
Consistent track record of delivering results with large-scale, cross-functional global projects and leading multiple complex projects simultaneously
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships
Able and willing to travel somewhat frequently to various global offices (Palo Alto, Ann Arbor, London, and Tokyo) for critical business projects/meetings
NICE TO HAVES
Global mindset, understand how cultural differences can impact how and what we communicate
Experience in automotive industry particularly in AD/ADAS or related technology fields
Fluent in Japanese
Masters in Business Administration (MBA)
