Leidos Defense Systems Sector has an immediate opening for a Senior Program Financial Analyst to support the IFPC Program within the Indirect Fires and Force Protection Business Area. This is an exciting opportunity to play a critical role on a high-visibility, fast-paced production program delivering mission-essential capabilities to the warfighter.

As a key member of the program team, you will partner directly with program managers, operations, and functional leaders to drive the program’s financial performance and execution objectives across a dynamic production environment. You will help manage and analyze program financials, support production and delivery milestones, identify risks and opportunities against the program baseline, and provide actionable recommendations to help achieve cost, schedule, and operational goals.

The ideal candidate thrives in a complex manufacturing and production setting, brings strong analytical and business partnering skills, and is motivated by supporting a program that directly contributes to national defense and force protection missions. This role offers the opportunity to influence decision-making, support large-scale production execution, and help ensure successful delivery of critical capabilities to the customer.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Lead preparation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reporting and presentation of financial forecasts, reports and analysis.
  • Lead weekly, month, and quarterly EAC  presentations/discussions with PM, DPM, and IPT leads.
  • Lead preparation of weekly and month staffing presentations for the WFOV portfolio.
  • Assist Program Managers and IPT leads quantify identified programmatic risk and opportunities that will impact program financials while recommending cost reductions and ways to mitigating risk.
  • Assist Program Managers and IPT leads explain variances against their latest EAC.
  • Support F&BO Manager with financial forecasting, EACs; monthly CTTP estimates, quarterly forecasting, and the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
  • Support F&BO Manager with month-end closings and variance/trend analyses
  • Support F&BO Manager with cash management and inventory analysis as well as timely submittal of invoices, collections and unbilled reduction.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline and 8+ years of program finance related experience.
  • Prior defense contracting industry experience with demonstrated knowledge of multiple contract types: FFP, FPLOE, T&M, Cost Plus and hybrid contracts.
  • Analytical, communication and presentations skills needed as well as being able to operate independently. 
  • US citizenship is required and able to obtain security clearance as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of financial systems and applications such as:  Cost Point, Hyperion, OBI, Cognos, Fusion, LPAS, and Cost Point.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications such as: Project, Excel, Power Point and Word.

Pay Range:Pay Range $92,300.00 - $166,850.00
