Job Purpose and Impact
- The Senior Professional, Client Devices - Mac/Mobility leads the configuration, deployment, and optimization of Apple and mobile platforms, including macOS, iOS, Android, and associated management tools. This role owns the strategic roadmap for Mac and Mobility technologies, including software packaging, patching, device management, and backup. With limited supervision, this role manages vendor relationships, ensures platform health and compliance, and integrates regional feedback to align engineering delivery with business needs and user expectations.
Key Accountabilities
- DEVICE CONFIGURATION & SETUP: Leads and reviews configuration and setup of Mac and mobile devices, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and user needs.
- PLATFORM ROADMAP & ENGINEERING: Owns and evolves the roadmap for Mac and Mobility platforms, including JAMF, Intune, and MDM/MAM technologies, ensuring alignment with business strategy.
- TECHNICAL SUPPORT & OPTIMIZATION: Provides advanced support and leads troubleshooting efforts for Mac and mobile platforms; oversees technical health and performance of JAMF and related tools.
- SECURITY & COMPLIANCE: Implements and maintains security measures across Mac and Mobility platforms to ensure compliance with organizational policies and audit readiness.
- VENDOR MANAGEMENT: Manages vendor relationships and contracts for Apple, JAMF, and MDM/MAM platforms, ensuring strategic alignment and platform optimization.
- INVENTORY & LIFECYCLE MANAGEMENT: Oversees global catalog and lifecycle management for Mac and mobile devices, ensuring efficient asset tracking and governance.
- DOCUMENTATION & TRAINING: Develops and maintains documentation for platform configurations and processes; delivers user training to improve adoption and reduce support requests.
- COLLABORATION: Partners with client experience engineers and other technology teams to integrate regional feedback and ensure seamless platform integration within the broader IT infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Minimum requirement of 4 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 5 years or more of relevant experience.
