The Anduril Imaging team develops state-of-the-art imaging systems across both hardware and software, deployed to tackle the most significant security challenges of America and its allies. ABOUT THE JOBAs a Production Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for developing product-agnostic software solutions for our production teams. You'll work cross-functionally with production and software teams to enhance automation and build efficiencies. Your role will involve hands-on software development and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal performance and integration of cutting-edge technologies.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Develop product-agnostic software solutions to optimize production efficiency and product quality
- Design and implement hardware testing strategies and tools
- Collaborate across multiple teams, especially software and production, to enhance automation
- Create and maintain documentation for testing procedures and tools
- Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Provide feedback to design teams for product enhancements
- Conduct root cause analysis to triage production, product, and process issues
- Lead system architecture designs of technical initiatives
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years of professional software development experience
- Proficiency in programming languages: Python and MATLAB
- Excellent problem-solving/critical thinking skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work and communicate collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
- Demonstrated accountability and ownership, team-player, self-motivated
- Drove strategic design of scalable system architecture
- Familiarity with Linux, Git, and networking
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree in a relevant engineering field
- Experience in hardware testing and automated test systems
- Strong understanding of hardware-software integration
- Experience with data analysis and performance monitoring
- Prior work in a high-volume manufacturing environment
- Experience with: SQL/databases, C/C++, javascript, nix
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
