What is the opportunity?

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Specialist to join our Product Specialist and Technical Enablement team within the Product Management organization. This is a customer-facing role that requires a technically seasoned candidate with a deep understanding of and hands-on experience with the full lifecycle of device management on Windows, macOS, Android or iOS using products such as Omnissa Workspace ONE UEM or Microsoft Intune. You will play a key role in enabling our customers, partners, and internal technical staff by creating product guidance that will be published on our premier technical enablement platform: https://techzone.omnissa.com.  You will also deliver technical enablement content to both internal and external audiences.

The ideal candidate is someone who first and foremost loves working with internal technical resources, partners, and customers, and is results driven. This candidate must also love technology, embrace new challenges, and be willing to travel to present to customers and deliver technical enablement.  This position requires a great deal of intellectual curiosity to be successful. There must be a strong desire to learn new technologies and tools. A considerable amount of the work we do involves learning how things work and building content to teach others.

What we are looking for:

  • Content Creation: Create written and video technical content for Tech Zone.  Create technical blogs for Omnissa Community site. Create detailed slide decks and hands-on-labs for the enablement of technical audiences both internal and external. Create prescriptive product documentation for customer self-enablement. Help guide the decision process for what content will have the most impact on our business through enabling internal and external technical practitioners.
  • Customer Engagement: Act as a subject matter expert on our solutions during customer engagements. Present technical content that helps the sales process or implementation and operation of our solutions.
  • Travel and Presentation: Represent the company at industry conferences, customer meetings, and events. Travel frequently to engage with customers and partners, presenting technical solutions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product management, marketing, field technical sales, and engineering teams to ensure alignment on enablement needs and messaging. Stay engaged with these teams to get necessary content for new releases and to fill gaps in enablement that exist on our solutions.
  • Enablement: Create enablement courses that will be used by internal and external audiences. Prepare slides, audio narration, assessments, and labs as needed. Work with the learning management team to ensure courses are uploaded into the LMS and assigned as directed. Deliver in person and live web-based enablement.

What will you bring to Omnissa?

  • Technical Expertise: Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with SCCM, Microsoft Intune, JAMF, SOTI or Omnissa Workspace ONE UEM is required. Experience with other end user computing solutions is also desired, such as identity management and endpoint security. Knowledge of mobile app or API development is a strong plus.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to learn and explain new technologies to other people. The position will require not only learning and understanding our technology through your own hands-on work but also explaining the technology to practitioners who need to understand it.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Proven ability to deliver compelling presentations to diverse audiences and write documents that clearly explain complex technical concepts.
  • Customer-Focused: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, partners, and customers.
  • Travel: Willingness and ability to travel frequently, including international travel as needed.
  • Experience: 7+ years of relevant experience in endpoint management or deployment, product management, technical consulting, or technical marketing in the end-user computing software industry.

What you can expect:

  • Impactful Work: Contribute to cutting-edge solutions that shape the future of end user computing.
  • Supportive Leadership: At Omnissa, leadership is grounded in integrity, empathy, and empowerment. You will be backed by managers who prioritize clarity, collaboration, and trust. Our managers are committed to nurturing talent, encouraging innovation, and fostering an environment where everyone feels heard, valued, and respected.
  • Collaborative Culture: Work with talented professionals in a supportive and inclusive environment.
  • Professional Growth: Opportunities for continuous learning and career advancement.
  • Competitive Compensation: Competitive salary, benefits, and travel allowances.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
