About Ping Identity:

At Ping Identity, we believe in making digital experiences both secure and seamless for all users, without compromise. We call this digital freedom. And it's not just something we provide our customers. It's something that inspires our company. People don't come here to join a culture that's built on digital freedom. They come to cultivate it.

Our intelligent, cloud identity platform lets people shop, work, bank, and interact wherever and however they want. Without friction. Without fear.

While protecting digital identities is at the core of our technology, protecting individual identities is at the core of our culture. We champion every identity. One of our core values, Respect Individuality, reminds us to celebrate differences so you are empowered to bring your authentic self to work.

We're headquartered in Denver, Colorado and we have offices and employees around the globe. We serve the largest, most demanding enterprises worldwide, including more than half of the Fortune 100. At Ping Identity, we're changing the way people and businesses think about cybersecurity, digital experiences, and identity and access management.

At Ping Identity, we help enterprises protect millions of identities every day. Our industry-leading solutions in multi-factor authentication (MFA), fraud detection, risk-based access, and identity verification deliver secure, seamless digital experiences for some of the world’s largest organizations.
We’re looking for a Senior Product Specialist to join our team and serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for these critical solutions. This highly customer-facing role is your opportunity to combine deep technical knowledge with relationship-building skills—supporting enterprise customers, gathering feedback from the field, and partnering with our product teams to influence the future of identity security.

What You’ll Do
  • Represent the company with executive presence, delivering roadmap presentations and strategic briefings tailored for C-suite and senior leadership audiences.
  • Lead high-impact technical discussions and workshops, providing deep expertise across authentication, fraud detection, risk engines, and identity verification.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to enterprise customers, framing technical solutions in the context of business outcomes, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
  • Act as a key voice of the field—capturing insights from customer engagements and market trends to influence product strategy and long-term roadmap.
  • Partner with account teams and solution engineers on critical customer engagements, ensuring successful evaluations, proof-of-concepts, and production deployments.
  • Create and deliver executive-ready enablement materials (strategic solution briefs, decision-maker guides, and thought leadership content) alongside technical resources like demo scripts and deep-dive guides.
  • Stay ahead of the curve by tracking emerging standards and technologies in identity, authentication, and fraud prevention, bringing a forward-looking perspective to customers and internal stakeholders.
What You Bring
  • 5-7+ years of experience in IAM, cybersecurity, or customer-facing technical roles (e.g., solutions engineering, technical account management, product enablement, or consulting), with a track record of engaging at the executive level.
  • Proven ability to communicate with impact, from leading technical deep dives to delivering strategic presentations to executive stakeholders.
  • Broad technical fluency across authentication protocols and standards (OAuth, OIDC, SAML, FIDO, Passkeys) and the ability to connect these to risk, fraud, and identity verification domains.
  • Exceptional professionalism and presence, with the ability to build trust and credibility with enterprise customers and internal executives alike.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical topics into business value discussions for decision-makers.
  • Strong plus: deep understanding of MFA, fraud/risk engines, behavioral analytics, and identity verification technologies.
Why You’ll Love This Role

You’ll work at the intersection of customer success and product innovation—helping enterprises solve real-world security challenges while bringing their voices directly into our product strategy.

Salary Range:  $109,000-$152,500

In accordance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) the approximate compensation range for this role in Colorado is listed above. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors, such as knowledge, skills, and abilities.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
