THE ROLE


Mission

We are looking for an experienced product marketing leader to join our team to define and amplify the Origin Product and Brand. As a Product Marketing leader at Origin, you’ll be responsible for defining Origin’s global marketing strategy to attract and engage consumers. It’s a highly cross-functional role that sits at the intersection of marketing, product, research, design, ops, and customer experience, with the unique opportunity to shape the future of finance.

We’re looking for a candidate with deep empathy for consumers, the ability to influence and guide the product roadmap, mastery of global go-to-market strategy, and the ability to drive clear business results. This is the first Product Marketing hire reporting directly to the VP of Marketing. This individual will educate and inspire the organization on how to best partner with PMM and play a founding role in building a best-in-class marketing organization.

Responsibilities

  • Drive and scale adoption of Origin for new and existing members by bringing to market new products, growth campaigns, and executing marketing strategies and campaigns across key owned and paid channels.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our existing and future members through qualitative and quantitative research. Understand pain points, learn from competing products, and determine how we can better serve and market to our users. 
  • Translate customer needs to influence product roadmaps, collaborate to develop new new features, and accelerate member acquisition, adoption, and engagement.
  • Spearhead go-to-market strategies and experimentation by working with creative, lifecycle, web, and brand teams to launch customized campaigns and strategies that drive adoption, engagement, and retention.
  • Develop our Product Marketing roadmap, vision, and strategy and evangelize this across the org.
  • Oversee additional outbound strategies like guiding influencer marketing and product/brand campaigns.  

Must Have

  • 8+ years of experience in product marketing with robust feature development and go-to-market experience. 
  • A combination of creativity, analytical horsepower, and deep product understanding to rapidly execute your ideas.
  • Excellent communication skills and a compelling narrative across different channels.
  • Proven track record of working across audiences and developing tailored marketing strategies to meet their needs.
  • The willingness and know-how to deeply understand our market, consumers and competition.
  • Highly collaborative and results-oriented.
  • An "owner" personality with a bias toward action.
