Senior Product Marketing Manager

PlanHub is the leading pre-construction SaaS platform and marketplace helping general contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers connect and grow their businesses. Built with tradespeople in mind, PlanHub is designed around the user workflow to help boost productivity, maintain deadlines, increase revenue, and create relationships. Easily post projects or submit bids with anytime-anywhere collaboration for every commercial construction trade.

We're looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager who is curious, collaborative, and passionate about driving adoption of SaaS products. This role will focus on PlanHub’s subcontractor audience—helping better understand their needs and translating those insights into effective go-to-market strategies and compelling messaging.

You’ll partner closely with Product, Sales, and Marketing to shape how subcontractors experience PlanHub and contribute to the growth of our supplier-side offerings. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, comfortable with ambiguity, and excited to get hands-on with research, campaign planning, and enablement.

What you'll do to make an impact:

  • Research subcontractor behaviors, pain points, and motivations to inform product positioning and user experience.
  • Craft clear, trade-specific messaging that highlights how PlanHub helps subcontractors find and win more work.
  • Sales Enablement: Create focused collateral and training materials that equip sales and success teams to effectively support subcontractor needs.
  • Go-to-Market Execution: Plan and launch go-to-market strategies for subcontractor-facing features and improvements to drive awareness and adoption.
  • Partner closely with Product to help shape the roadmap

What will make you stand out:

  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing, ideally in B2B SaaS or marketplaces.
  • Strong understanding of user research, positioning, and GTM fundamentals.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Design.
  • A proactive mindset and comfort working in fast-paced, evolving environments.
  • Familiarity with or interest in the construction or skilled trades space is a plus.

What's in it for you:

The opportunity to join a dynamic team that landed on the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 list and Inc. 5000 in 2024. You can make an immediate impact as PlanHub moves to dominate the industry!

PlanHub Offers:

  • An awesome culture where you will be empowered, make an impact, and learn a ton.
  • Open time-off policy.
  • An excellent benefit package, including medical, dental, vision and life insurance.
  • 401k with a company match

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
