About the Role:

As a Senior Product Marketing Manager you will own go-to-market strategy and PLG motions for Motive products. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker capable of driving GTM plans, competitive positioning, and customer acquisition and growth strategies in a fast-moving environment. You will have strong attention to detail, execute efficiently, and be fluent in using data to drive decision-making. You’ll also be an excellent communicator able to build strong relationships across teams as this role requires you to work cross-functionally with product management, demand generation, communications, enablement and other teams to drive awareness, adoption, and revenue growth.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and execute go-to-market plans for Motive’s product offerings, ensuring alignment with company objectives and revenue targets. 
  • Drive marketing efforts for new product launches and feature releases, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless rollout. 
  • Act as a key player in PLG motions to support product adoption and growth.
  • Define positioning, messaging, and value propositions that resonate with key audiences, and differentiate Motive’s AI platform capabilities in a competitive landscape. 
  • Leverage data and customer insights to refine messaging, pricing, and product strategy.
  • Develop sales collateral, presentations, and training materials to enable the sales team to effectively position and sell Motive’s A-powered technology. 
  • Collaborate with demand generation, lifecycle and content marketing teams to create compelling campaigns that drive awareness and lead generation. 
  • Build a deep understanding of industry trends, pain points, and buyer personas. 
  • Identify opportunities for differentiation and expansion. 
  • Act as the voice of the customer within the organization, ensuring that product development aligns with market needs. 
  • Work closely with Product Managers to influence roadmap decisions based on customer feedback and market insights. 
  • Collaborate with channel and partnership teams to develop co-marketing initiatives that expand Motive’s reach in the physical operations space.  

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in product marketing.
  • Experience at companies focused on AI-powered SaaS products, SaaS-enabled hardware, agentic or automated workflows, or fintech are strongly preferred.
  • Strong ability to translate complex technical features into clear, compelling customer benefits. 
  • Proven track record in driving GTM strategies, messaging, and sales enablement for enterprise or mid-market products. 
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex information in a clear and persuasive manner.
  • Adept in building strong working relationships with Product Directors and other cross-functional team members.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining a strategic perspective. 
  • Agile and able to adapt quickly to shifting market dynamics and organizational priorities.
Pay Transparency
Your compensation may be based on several factors, including education, work experience, and certifications. For certain roles, total compensation may include restricted stock units. The compensation range for this position will depend on where you reside. Motive uses three geographic zones to determine pay range. For this role, the compensation ranges are:
San Francisco, California
$138,000$191,000 USD
U.S. metropolitan areas: Los Angeles, San Diego, New York City Area, Seattle, Washington D.C.
$120,000$165,000 USD
Other locations in the United States
$120,000$165,000 USD
