About the role:
We’re looking for an exceptional Senior Product Marketing Manager, Vertical Solutions to own and scale Cresta’s positioning, messaging, and GTM strategy across a portfolio of industries, led by Travel & Hospitality and Telecommunications. This is not a single-vertical role. It’s for a solutions marketer who has worked inside a mature, multi-industry go-to-market motion and knows how to build vertical marketing as a repeatable system: one that gives each industry a sharp, credible story and scales as Cresta adds more. You’ll report to the VP of Product Marketing and play a critical role in how Cresta positions, sells, and grows across several of its most important verticals.

Responsibilities:

  • You’ll own the development and continuous refinement of Cresta’s positioning and messaging for Travel & Hospitality, Telecommunications, and more, translating our platform capabilities into clear, differentiated industry narratives that resonate with buyers, operators, and executives in each
  • You’ll build the repeatable vertical playbook (a common framework for industry narratives, personas, use cases, proof points, and enablement) and apply it across the covered verticals, so each gets high-quality coverage and new verticals can be added efficiently
  • You’ll help establish Cresta as a thought leader in each covered industry, shaping the market conversation around the future of AI-powered customer experience through strategic content, industry events, analyst engagement, and customer storytelling
  • You’ll develop and maintain deep buyer personas for each covered vertical, advancing our internal understanding of industry-specific pain points, priorities, and decision dynamics to ensure our messaging drives relevance and confidence in deals
  • You’ll partner closely across product, sales, solutions, and marketing, serving as the connective tissue to build and execute industry-specific go-to-market strategies that accelerate pipeline and revenue growth
  • You’ll bring new product capabilities and innovations to market through an industry lens, leading vertical launches and creating the sales enablement and supporting materials needed to drive adoption and impact
  • Your deep understanding of how our wins and losses vary by industry, use case, and buyer will give you a data-driven point of view to influence roadmap priorities, sharpen our positioning, and guide where Cresta deepens its vertical investment over time
  • You love to move fast, get your hands dirty, and solve open-ended problems, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution to help Cresta win across complex, high-impact industries

Qualifications:

  • At least 7 years of product marketing or solutions marketing experience, including meaningful time in an industry or solutions marketing role at a company with a mature, multi-vertical go-to-market motion
  • Demonstrated experience covering multiple industries simultaneously, including building repeatable vertical frameworks and ramping quickly on new industries
  • Domain knowledge and experience marketing to least one of Travel & Hospitality or Telecommunications
  • Experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects
  • Excellent communication skills and comfortable presenting in executive-level settings
  • Excellent research skills and experience producing data-driven market analysis
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in software categories related to contact centers, customer experience, and AI Agents
  • Experience marketing to Home Services, Utilities, or Retail
  • Experience in hypergrowth scale-ups

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
