Job Purpose

VulcanForms is seeking a highly motivated Senior Product Marketing Manager to lead product marketing within our Industrials business unit. In this role, you will partner closely with engineering, commercial, production, and customer teams to drive adoption of VulcanForms' Industrials business. You will be the voice of this offering to program and technical leaders and create positioning and go-to-market programs that underscore VulcanForms' manufacturing capability and business impact for Industrials customers. This is a remote opportunity with occasional travel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategy for VulcanForms' Industrials offering, defining positioning and messaging based on customer pain points and competitive landscape
  • Monitor shifts in the market, relevant regulatory or policy changes, and competitor positioning across traditional and emerging industrials, energy, and firearms sectors
  • Partner with Engineering to translate manufacturing capability into customer value propositions
  • Support launch planning for new capabilities, including collateral creation, sales enablement, and customer engagement activities
  • Create precise technical marketing materials - capability decks, case studies, white papers – and partner directly with our Commercial team to support with positioning language and materials where appropriate
  • Work closely with customers and internal teams to understand program challenges and how manufacturing capability addresses them
  • Support executive-level narratives for board updates and customer program reviews
Qualifications
  • 6+ years in product or solutions marketing, with direct experience in industrial/manufacturing environments
  • Demonstrated ability to translate technical or manufacturing capability into arguments non-technical decision-makers can act on
  • Experience building positioning and enablement from scratch in a business without established product marketing infrastructure
  • Strong written communicator, able to produce polished, executive-ready materials independently
  • Comfort operating within multi-stakeholder program sales cycles, including regulatory and compliance considerations

VulcanForms offers a competitive salary and equity package. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. In addition, VulcanForms provides comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance; generous paid time off; and a 401(k) plan with company match.

The annual base salary range for this position is $110,400 to $151,800.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
