The Team
The Guidewire product marketing team consists of a select team of product marketers who love and live Guidewire’s products and offerings. Product Marketers at Guidewire are responsible for launching, positioning, and messaging the Guidewire product portfolio with differentiated messaging and storytelling. The team works to enable and support the company’s worldwide sales team, analyst relations, consulting and technology partners, demand generation campaigns, and public relations initiatives. They act as spokespeople for their respective domains of expertise through presentations at industry events, webinars, written collateral like whitepapers, ebooks, web copy and press articles, and interacting with the broader market, including prospects, customers, analysts, and journalists.
The Job
Guidewire is seeking a star product marketer, ideally with insurance industry knowledge, to help drive the go-to-market plan for our flagship claims management application for the global P&C insurance industry.

You are bold, creative, and fast moving. You persuade your audience into action with an exceptional command of language, perfect tone, and masterful articulation of concepts in both letter and form. You are equally comfortable collaborating on vision as running a highly-organized and transparent process. Product management and sales love you and rely on your ability to craft the right narrative for every situation. You are comfortable working within a highly-matrixed organization and passionate about inspiring enthusiasm across marketing, product, and sales teams to vanquish market-inhibiting challenges. You have explored and understand the power of Generative AI to kickstart, enhance, and refine your work, while also knowing that your voice, knowledge, and expertise are essential in making your final content stand out in a crowded marketplace. Critical thinking, collegiality, and the ability to articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences will make you a great fit in this role and at Guidewire.

Job Description

What you will need…
  • 5+ years of relevant experience, ideally in a SaaS product marketing role in a B2B software company.

  • Excellent skills and talent for both formal and informal communications in all forms and media: spoken, written, visual, presentations, websites, social media, and video.

  • Ability to translate complex technical solutions in clear and convincing ways, whether to non-technical audiences or extremely technical ones.

  • Experience with leveraging Generative AI to streamline content development and manage workload.

  • Proven ability to build relationships with individuals and teams that are peers, executives, internal customers, and Guidewire customers around the globe; balancing strong personalities is key.

  • Strong program management skills including goal setting, milestone planning, progress reports, and driving collaboration.

  • Sense of humor, fun, and empathy for colleagues and customers are all prized qualities in this team.

  • Prior experience in promoting insurance solutions or product management experience with enterprise insurance offerings is highly desirable.

  • Deep understanding of insurance carrier organizations is preferred; working within or marketing specifically to the claims team is a bonus.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $126,000 - $190,000 . Your base pay will depend on your experience, skills, education, training, and location among other factors. All full-time positions or part-time roles working 30 hours or more a week at Guidewire are eligible for benefits that support their health and well-being including health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and a company sponsored retirement plan. In addition, some roles may be eligible for the annual company bonus plan, commissions, and/or long term incentive awards which are contingent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, company and employee performance.
