Job Description

Your Career

New 5G capabilities offer unparalleled opportunities for businesses in multiple industries to ‌accelerate‌ ‌their‌ ‌digital‌ ‌transformation‌ journeys. Massive connectivity and low latency in 5G drive a range of “smart” applications such as smart cities, smart homes, and smart cars. The opportunities are vast, and will rely on new ways of securing 5G.

The Senior Product Marketing Manager for 5G Security will be the voice of Palo Alto Networks in helping enterprises and service providers secure their 5G networks. They will work closely with Product, Go-To-Market, Sales and Marketing stakeholders to create, implement and execute the product marketing strategy. This includes market awareness, thought leadership and demand generation efforts.

Your Impact

  • Translate product capabilities into simple, compelling messages that resonate with customers and build awareness focused on 5G Security

  • Build strong product marketing content, including blogs, videos and presentations

  • Develop messaging and lead marketing initiatives aligned to target buyers and users

  • Present at internal and external events, highlighting how we offer differentiated security for 5G environments

  • Partner with the broader marketing team to amplify our message, provide customer education, and generate demand

  • Identify metrics and drive regular communication on progress the broader marketing team 

  • Track the 5G security market and competitive landscape, in collaboration with product, marketing, and sales leadership

  • Lead sales enablement content generation, both for Palo Alto Networks sellers and Partners

  • Identify the tools or capabilities needed to increase sales and channel impact and performance

Qualifications

Your Experience 

  • 5+ years of product marketing experience is required

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

  • Comfortable with creating and delivering presentations in a range of environments, from industry conferences to customer briefings

  • An understanding of customers’ needs and market dynamics for 5G technologies

  • Experience with information/cyber security products is ideal

  • Demonstrated product marketing abilities that propel adoption and market momentum - a desire to bring innovative tech products to market

  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA is desirable or equivalent military experience required

Compensation Disclosure

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $155,000 - $252,000/YR. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.
