About Torticity

Torticity builds technology that powers complex, operations-heavy workflows connecting internal teams, partner law firms, and claimants. We operate at the intersection of legal, operations, and technology—designing systems that increase efficiency, accuracy, and scale.

We’re in a 0→1 phase across multiple products, with a strong focus on AI-driven workflows and automation to transform how work gets done.

The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to own a high-impact product area end-to-end. This is a builder role—ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, moves quickly, and is excited to shape products from the ground up.

You will define strategy, prioritize across competing inputs, and partner closely with Engineering and Design in a triad model to ship meaningful outcomes. You’ll also work cross-functionally with Operations and senior leadership to ensure alignment and execution.

What You’ll DoProduct Ownership & Strategy
  • Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for your product area

  • Establish clear success metrics and track performance over time

  • Make high-quality prioritization decisions across multiple stakeholders

Discovery & Problem Solving
  • Synthesize insights from internal teams, law firms, and end users (claimants)

  • Identify high-impact problems and validate opportunities

  • Frame hypotheses, define KPIs, and run experiments to de-risk ideas

Execution & Delivery
  • Partner with Engineering and Design to scope, build, and ship products quickly

  • Write clear product requirements (PRDs) and iterate based on feedback

  • Balance speed and quality in a fast-moving environment

AI & Prototyping
  • Leverage AI tools to accelerate your workflow and improve product experiences

  • Rapidly prototype solutions to test ideas before full investment

  • Identify opportunities to embed AI into core product functionality

Measurement & Iteration
  • Analyze product performance and user behavior

  • Report on outcomes and continuously refine based on data and feedback

Culture & Process
  • Contribute to product culture, processes, and scaling best practices

  • Help establish frameworks for decision-making and execution as the company grows

What We’re Looking For
  • 5+ years of product management experience, with ownership of end-to-end product areas

  • Experience in 0→1 environments or complex operational domains (e.g., fintech, insurtech, marketplaces)

  • Proven ability to prioritize effectively in ambiguous, multi-stakeholder environments

  • Strong analytical skills with experience defining and tracking metrics/KPIs

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including working with senior leadership

  • Hands-on experience with AI tools—either shipping AI-enabled products or deeply integrating AI into your workflow

  • Comfort with technical concepts such as APIs, system integrations, and data flows

Nice to Have
  • Experience in B2B2C platforms or multi-sided marketplaces

  • Background working closely with operations-heavy workflows

  • Experience building or scaling AI-powered features or automation systems

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
