ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to join our dynamic team. The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for driving product strategy, leading cross-functional teams, and advocating for user-centric design principles while aligning with business objectives. This role operates within a collaborative Squad environment, working toward long-term product goals aligned with company OKRs and KPIs. The Senior Product Manager will play a key role in developing and enhancing LifeStance Health’s mental health products and services, supporting both clinicians and patients with data-driven solutions.
COMPENSATION: $120,000 - $147,000 /annually in addition to a competitive bonus plan
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Product Strategy & Roadmap Development:
Define and execute a clear product strategy and roadmap that aligns with business objectives. Identify new opportunities and collaborate with stakeholders to drive product vision focused on consumer experience. - Cross-Functional Leadership:
Lead cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Design, and Marketing, to bring consumer-centric products to market. Ensure alignment with business goals and foster a collaborative, autonomous Squad environment. - User-Centric Design & Consumer Product Management:
Advocate for the user by deeply understanding their needs, pain points, and unmet requirements. Create and iterate on user personas and journeys to design intuitive, engaging digital products that improve the consumer experience. - Data-Driven Decision Making & CRO:
Utilize data, market analysis, and user insights to inform product enhancements and decisions. Leverage web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to analyze consumer behavior and trends. Lead conversion rate optimization (CRO) efforts by setting up data-centric experiments, including A/B testing using tools like Optimizely or Google Optimize, to validate hypotheses and improve product performance. - Market & Industry Analysis:
Stay informed about market trends, competitive landscape, and industry best practices to help shape the product strategy and drive innovation. - Stakeholder Management:
Work closely with internal stakeholders, including leadership and operational teams, to ensure smooth product rollouts, communicate progress, and gather feedback for continuous improvement. - Product Lifecycle Ownership:
Own the product lifecycle, including defining product requirements, translating them into user stories, and prioritizing the backlog to meet business objectives and drive continuous improvements. - Value Management & Metrics:
Establish and manage key product metrics such as speed, quality, and OKRs to drive product success and measure progress. - Promoting Transparency:
Foster open communication and involve critical business areas in product decisions. Maintain visibility and ensure stakeholders are engaged and informed throughout the process.
SQUAD-SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Vision & Mission Setting:
Establish a strategic vision for your Squad’s product area, creating a mission and strategy that drives long-term value over immediate outputs. - Hypothesis & Experimentation:
Lead data-driven experimentation, focusing on key performance indicators (KPIs) rather than deliverables or features, to drive business objectives forward. - Autonomy & Ownership:
Empower your Squad to be autonomous and responsible for their own decisions, processes, and product lifecycle management. - Collaboration & Process Improvement:
Continuously improve Squad processes, collaborate with adjacent teams, and provide feedback on prototypes and implementation ideas. - Lifecycle Stewardship:
Oversee the entire lifecycle of your Squad’s product, from creation to decommissioning, ensuring long-term stewardship and maintaining efficient, clean user experiences.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in consumer-focused digital products within healthcare or SaaS environments.
- Experience in mental health or healthcare technology.
- Experience working in a Squad or Agile environment.
- Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, Optimizely, or Google Optimize as well as product management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.
- Experience with OKR setting, value management, and hypothesis-driven experimentation.
- Experience leading teams through complex integrations and large-scale product rollouts.
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and bringing successful consumer products to market.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills, with proficiency in web analytics, A/B testing, and CRO.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and evolving environment.
