We are seeking a Senior Product Manager, B2B to build the future of B2B ecommerce. This person will own and deliver critical product capabilities that enable Commerce to become the leading B2B commerce platform. This role will be responsible for defining product strategy and execution for key B2B domains, working cross-functionally to deliver customer value, improve operational efficiency, and drive commercial outcomes.

BigCommerce, part of the Commerce brand family, helps merchants increase sales at every stage of their growth. From small startups to mid-market businesses and large enterprises, we provide the leading e-commerce platform. Our customers can then concentrate on what's most important: growing their businesses. We enable our customers to build, innovate, and grow, collectively reshaping the e-commerce industry.

What You’ll Do:

  • Product Strategy & Discovery

    • Own product strategy and roadmap for one or more core B2B capability areas (e.g. pricing, customer hierarchies, ordering workflows, quotes, integrations, permissions, storefront experiences)

    • Translate the broader B2B vision and ICP into clear problem statements, opportunities, and executable plans

    • Develop deep empathy for B2B merchants and buyers through customer interviews, data analysis, field engagement, and partner feedback

    • Assess competitive and adjacent market solutions to inform product differentiation and prioritization

  • Execution & Delivery

    • Define product requirements, success metrics, and trade-offs in partnership with Engineering

    • Lead cross-functional delivery from discovery through launch, iteration, and scale

    • Balance customer needs, technical constraints, and business impact to drive high-quality outcomes

    • Ensure solutions scale across customer size, complexity, and verticals

  • Business Impact & Growth

    • Own success metrics for your product areas, including adoption, engagement, performance, and contribution to retention, expansion and revenue

    • Partner with Sales, PMM, and Solutions teams to ensure features are usable, sellable, and clearly differentiated

    • Support pricing, packaging, and monetization initiatives by providing product insight and impact analysis

    • Identify opportunities to reduce friction, improve time-to-value, and increase customer lifetime value

  • Cross-Functional Leadership

    • Act as a subject matter expert for your B2B domains internally, and externally with partners and customers

    • Collaborate closely with GTM, Support, and Partner teams to ensure feedback loops inform roadmap decisions

Who You Are:

  • 5–8+ years of product management experience, including ownership of complex, customer-facing products

  • Strong understanding of B2B commerce, SaaS, and enterprise workflows (e.g. manufacturers, distributors, ERP-adjacent systems)

  • Demonstrated ability to translate ambiguous problems into shipped, measurable product and revenue outcomes

  • Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, design, and go-to-market teams

  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to influence without authority

  • Comfort operating in fast-moving, evolving environments

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
